Ohh I was thinking about Franklin this morning - I dont think hes fanciable but again what wonderful casting.

Im quite pleased as think TV Pam is becoming more like book Pam - the bit in season 2 when Arlene's children went to Fangtasia was wonderful.

I dont find Jason attractive - hes totally right for the character but doesnt appeal at all.

Im actually worried about when im going to get time to watch S3 once the kids are off.

PURPLES, IMO I think he's going to be a grower (in the least dirty sense of the word... )

Im glad the character of Pam is getting a bit more airing, she is one of my favourite book characters.

Im wondering if they are going to incorperate the fairy storyline, I dunno, I just think fairy connections is quite cheesy.

I think thats what the whole blue flash thing is about...anyway no fairies...no Claude (and how sad would that be)

Anna mentions fairies on one of the s1 commentaries, so yes they probably are going to do it.

But there have been things in the first two books which I found cheesy and didn't in the show so maybe it will be alright! erm, hopefully? I think it sorts of works because they are not all that nice fairies and I expect we'll see lots of that.

He's my fave character after eric and pam who is also on my list should I ever decide that men are not my bag anymore...

The bit that made me really laugh was a couple of weeks ago when Sookie & Jason were talking about Bill being missing in the kitchen. She said "I keep expecting him to come in and say SOOKIE" (she said it the gruff way Bill does) the raised eyebrows look Jason gave her was so funny.

I am also a bit hmmm about how well the fairy stuff will come across on screen. I told Dh about it this week as he has not read the books, and he was very about the whole thing.

DH & I watch this every Saturday, it's totally replaced any kind of social life we used to have before DS arrived!

Sam used to be my favourite eye candy but Alcide's taken over now - he's just big and lush - also I'm a sucker for hairy men/beards.

I LOVE Jason! He's my favourite character (closely followed by Lafayette) brilliant writing and fantastic characters.

I haven't enjoyed a series this much since, dunno, maybe Buffy and that was a loooong time ago!

Me too! I was actually in the middle of rewatching all of Buffy when I caught the True Blood Fever...

Yay going to watch it tonight. If anyone is on facebook you can "like" the trueblood facebook page and they post sneak previews and such.

Ok, I'm all caught up. I was waivering towards Alcide, but I just watched s3e6 and I'm firmly back in Eric's camp. He's adorably bad-ass and running a game on pretty much every other character, while wearing an aqua blue v-neck jumper. Love him.

I really got into this last season so decided to download some episodes to watch whilst I was at the seaside on my own with the boys. No mobile reception and no internet.

Best week of my life.

The vision of Eric in that jumper will stay with me always!

Franklin's too much like a friend of mine - in looks, by the way, not in a completely psycho-nutbar way.

s3 is completely brilliant - I'm rewatching it all tonight as OH has gone to (apparently strip-club free!) stag night, so I don't feel at all guilty about posting this and I'm going to sit back and enjoy watching it again, until I fall asleep on the sofa as I'm 20wks pg! (but I would also like to point out that my DH has NEVER been out without me in the 3 1/2 years we've been together, so I'm really glad he's gone to have a catch-up with his mates!)
