I adore Lafayette, I always felt in the books that character was wasted...he has such beautiful eyes and makes me laugh more than anyone!

I know I had read the books too, however the truly awfully nobbish thing that Bill does looks like it is not going to happen so I am being a bit more sympathetic to him than I would otherwise be. (Not based on spoilers, but on other stuff that has happened and that he is sticking around as a main character for up to s7 if it gets commissioned that far)

Oh really? Hmm. But I can't forget that that was the intention from teh books iyswim, so everytime I see him fawning over sookie I get all, 'Oh fgs give it up'
And he is in all the books anyway, isn't he?

Oh, and can I add Godric? Obviously pre meltdown.... BUt he'd easily be 2nd. even though it felt a bit pervy he was thousands of years old, so basically ok

Quinn is described as having 'pansy purple eyes'. Doesn't that just sound extremely odd?

Oh, and as well as Quinn, are they going to have Claude? That shoudl be fun casting...

I think they might skip the purple eyes, tbh. I always have to gloss over that when I read it because it makes no sense whatsoever that he would have freaky eyes.

I bet Claude will be pilfered from a runway.

I dont have a clear idea of Claude in my head but it should be interesting to see what they come up with! The casting for this has been superb so far.

The purple eyes are doable with contacts...isnt Elizabeth Taylor always described as having eyes like that?

Well having googled apparetnyl Charlaine harris wrote the character of Quinn with Vin Diesel in mind, as in she based it on him anyway, so it would make sense to cast him if they could, but still, Vin Diesel? ew.

I do have to say Bill, Sookie, Jason, Sam and Eric are all exactly as I imagined.
Pam is all wrong, and Tara, but that's probably more wrt the book/series differences thing.
