Just got in from work-house a tip! P (age6) greeted me at the door with "can I have my dinner now?!" S(15) greeted me with"we've no bread" so I got a loaf out of the freezer!!!! Can't find C (16)!! Pile of wet washing left in front of dryer and S wants to know if his jeans will be dry cos he's going out in an hour and can he have a lift cos it's raining!!!!!

nah, sorry no takers here, I am dreading the tennage years, currently I always know where my 2 are during the night, I only have to turn around, they generally creep into my bed .

Although sometimes I look forward to the morose years where they stop talking, coz mine never SHUT UP

Grin and bear it, they'll leave home soon, only to return with dirty clothes and leave with the contents of your fridge and freezer

Do you want the bad news - some of them don't want to leave home! Still have 20 year old DS at home. Can't (sorry, wont) cook, doesn't know the meaning of the word tidy,fights constantly with 15 year old sister and always has to have the last word! And people tell me I'll miss this when he leaves home!!!!

So will I be soon, Dh and I have fallen out. I have to collect Teen 14 from tennis club, wait while he packs and then drop him round to a friends. Her mum runs a pub, and apparently all the kids sit upstairs talking! Is that true I wonder or are they all wandering around the town, after I have specifically dropped him over there to stop him going on the bus. One only of the four at home tomorrow, hurray, 'cos nos. 2 and 3 are going to Legoland and oldest is playing golf with his friend. Mmmm...what will I do with my day?? Bugger all if Dh and me aren't talking, I suppose. I think I'll be having a mad clean up and tis by a zealous policemany, as well as doing my paperwork etc. Oh well, roll on 7.30 when I can have another glass of wine. I've had half a one, 'cos knowing the way my life is going at the moment, I'll be the only person in the whole world to get done for D/d on a half a glass! Happy weekends, mums of teens!

Dd (age 15) went to bonfire with her friends - oh peace thinks me - ha ha. Appeared 10 minutes ago with a load of friends! How on earth can teenage girls make so much noise??? Dh is asleep on couch in front of tv. Me? The wine and a book sound like a good idea. Dunno what's worse - teenagers or dh's!!!!!!!

tell s yes drying will be done if he hurries to put it on,tell him getting bread out of freezer toasting it and eating would give him the energy to do s and the energy to walk. dont worry about c and tell p to ask s to make them some toast while at it while you put your feet up and have cuppa

My dd A (13) told me I am a "witch" today. Because I told her off for eating a whole tub of Terry's Choc Orange ice cream in the night. Grrrr.

Like the ideas FM!!! Don't know what I'll come home to tomorrow-working till 9-30 pm, dh away so dd(16), and ds(15) are holding the fort!! Do I trust them to feed, help with homework and put to bed my ds2 (6)? never done it before!!
