where are you taking your teens on holiday this summer please?

After some good news y/day (husband in remission) we feel we can safely book a holiday for the first time in 6 years! Budget around £4,000 would like at least 10 days. Ideas and recommendations on places to keep three 16yr olds happy and give us a break...........achievable? Thanks :)

You mentioned North Africa. What about a couple of days in Cairo followed a beachy week in Sharm? Nice mix of sightseeing and sunbathing, with option to do world class scuba diving in Sharm. Pick a great AI hotel and I reckon everyone will be happy.

horsemad - we're staying at Camping del Garda in Peschiera; it's a medium sized site with enough to do but not as huge as Bella Italia, down the road which everyone seems to favour (it sounds more full-on which my two introverts might find a bit too much!!)
Our site has a couple of bars and restaurants but is only 15 mins walk along the lake into the little town with loads of choice of eateries.
