Have you kept the other one in?

My nose stud has been fine. I’ve had it downsized and no probs at all.The jury is still out on having my nipples done? I’ve noted your titanium/gold advice. I’ll probably wait until the autumn and then just have one done initially. If that works out OK, l’ll go for the second.

It does look minimal, I never really noticed the skin irritation too much until I took the bar out which is annoying as maybe changing the bar might have helped. Especially with you mentioning downsizing. Think I got worried as the skin around the hole either side started to crack (open bleeding wound and pus :/ just isn't worth risking)
It doesn't look It but I was constantly leaking pus and slightly tender no matter what I did for it to heal. It was also bigger than my other nipple so I knew it just wasn't happy!

My other nipple piercing was taken out after 2 months as was infected (a lot worse than this one)
Slightly disappointed :(

Upsetting to go through all that and then retire them.

They were a bit close to the base, maybe that was an issue? Good luck if you have them done again.

I know this is an old thread but it is related to my earlier comments here.

l took the plunge and had my left nipple pierced a couple of months back. It has healed beautifully although it really did hurt on the day and was sore for quite sometime afterwards. I’m told that the left side hurts more as it’s nearer to the heart; no idea if it’s true or not.

The reason for the single piercing, which l think looks OK on its own, is l wanted to avoid double trouble if it didn’t work out. I enjoy summer swimming, so l’ll wait until it gets cooler, then if there are no probs, l’ll have the other one done.

Hi!

Can swelling make it seem like your nipples are pierced wrong?
I had both nipples pierced 2 days ago.
My left nipple is swollen but my right is fine.
It appears to have been pierced a bit wrong but my question is if it can just appear this way due to swelling.
I'm praying I don't have to take this out and have it repierced. 🙏
