What style of tattoo do you dislike

Mine are Watercolour and Trash Polka.

I only like small inconspicuous ones, that aren't obvious.
A rose on a shoulder for e.g is quite nice.
I hate the big ones and sleeves, that are obvious and shown off.

People are entitled to look how they want though.

Butterflies, dolphins, flowers, stars.
The only tattoo I've seen that I like is rihannas paw print one on her neck

My massive dragon on my back. Only one I got and I don't like it.

I think that Mandala tattoos are overdone at the moment and I hate neck tattoos but people can get what they want tattooed on them that's the beauty of self expression. Me and dh both have a few tattoos (My dhs are very visable) so I shouldn't really judge haha

I like not having one

I do think certain styles have a lifespan.You could nearly pinpoint the year when some of them where done.

I blanche at pornographic, racist, bigoted, vulgar (eg., like an Arsenal fan pissing on a Chelsea shirt). Most aren't like that, thank goodness.

Stars, hearts, "infinity" symbols and just really common basic ones.

But I'm a tattoo snob and have custom bits done and baulk when my friends get butterflies and semi-colons.

On people in general anything on the face.

My own (of which I've got about 25) tribal on base on my spine. Loads of people refer to it as a tramp stamp.
I was 17 and stupid and wanted a tattoo so went and picked one off a board.

In general I love seeing people's tattoos. It's a great insite into them as a person and there are some stunning pieces out there.

Poorly executed portraiture - which the owner is really proud of and thinks is perfect. I would never, ever say anything obviously, but it makes me cringe a bit.

I’m not keen on the geometric animal ones.

Don’t have any myself, so my opinion is not worth anything.

Names. I prefer something symbolic.

I think the watercolour ones are going to look like bruises in a few years.I dont think some of them have enough definition.They look beautiful when done.

Sugar skulls because of the cultural appropriation.

Elaborate deep and meaningful personalised designs that represent x and y. Rather pretentious. Mine just look cool/pretty.

I find children's names and DOB ones a bit weird. Useful if you have a poor memory I suppose.

I dislike any that are the craze at the time. I like tattoos that have a meaning or are a personal idea or design.

I have four, and I like them all, thank goodness.

The worst one I ever saw was a back piece which was a reproduction of a wedding photo. Probably the owner's parents or grandparents.

God, it was awful. Imagine having sex with someone while their nana and grandad squinted up at you!

names of children and dobs are really tacky

The only ones I really don't like are the ones that look like the skin is ripped to show something underneath, like this.

Also the small swallow, devil, dolphin etc... on bum, shoulder etc...
I prefer them to be part of your identity and not just some kind of follow the crowd thing if that makes sense

Cartoon characters like Winnie the Pooh or minions. Horrible and tacky.

I see a lot of beautiful tattoo's though.
