Most painful place to get tattooed

Just that really.Mine where the bony part of my wrist and bingo wings.That was a killer.

Top of my foot.

Foot without a doubt is the worst
Then ribs or shoulder blades.

Just had my shins done, which was the most painful so far. Weirdly, worse than my ribs which is apparently the most painful.

I have a super high pain threshold but getting the top of my foot done left me in tears and a lot of cursing directed at the tattooist (thankfully he found it all highly amusing)

I have had a few of the painful places done and worst for me was my side/hip/ribs.

Ha! As mentioned in other thread- between and under my boobs was THe most painful I’ve had so far- like being drilled through my chest wall with extreme pressure. Horrid.

Inner wrist and shoulder blades for me too. Thought the back of the neck would be the worst but barely felt a thing.

Back of the neck was the least painful for me.

Inner ankle, right on the bone

The one on my ribs was absolute agony I very nearly didn't let them finish and it wasn't very big to start with.

Bloody hell you’re all so brave! I couldn’t ever let a needle near me voluntarily!

I don’t remember the top of my foot hurting that bad,but I fainted after the first line . Was fine for the rest of it.
Wrist hurt like a bitch though.

Top of my foot. I’m usually fine with pain but that was much worse than anticipated.

My wrist bled quite a lot and I remember my foot one hurting but not as much as the side one

Stomach. I hardly even flinched when I had my foot and ankle done but my stomach hurt so much I nearly passed out!

Lower back. The laser removal is bloody painful too!

I'm not covered - I have one on my calf, one on my thigh on one on the back of my neck

AND

One all over my ribs, down to my hip, slightly onto my boob... that has now been unfinished and looks absolutely fucking ridiculous unfinished for 5 years as the pain was so unbearable and I genuinely cannot sit for another probably 8 hours and ensure.

Plus its been left so long that it is faded and the new bits would look stupid too. Wish I'd never started it in the first place!!!!!!

Foot, back of neck were least painful for me

Quite pleased i cheated and out emla cream on my foot before my tattoo when I had it done yeeeeeeaaaaars ago reading this!

I have a sizeable one on my back, from bra strap to waistline. OMG. The vibrations travelled through my entire ribcage and onto the bed. It hurt way more than I was expecting I remember lying there deciding against getting my foot tattooed in the future, because I'd heard they were agony and if it was worse than what I was currently experiencing...

Stomach! Felt like I was being repeatedly stabbed with vibrating knives and had to hold my breath the whole time.
My back/shoulders were fine though, just felt slightly sharper than a pencil.

Slightly derailing but what happens if the pain is really unbearable? Does anyone have half a tattoo? I'd quite like one but pretty sure I'd change my mind once they'd started!

I'm having my whole toe tattooed to cover a missing toenail, so I'll tell you afterwards if I am still alive!
