Most painful place to get tattooed

Just that really.Mine where the bony part of my wrist and bingo wings.That was a killer.

@catsarenice - see my post above. Have had a half finished tattoo over my entire side for over 5 years beacause I cannot go back again and face the pain.

I went into actual shock 2 hours into the last session - which is why they stopped in the first place. I think it will look stupid and be unfinished forever which is a shame as it would have been beautiful

On my chest right between my boobs. Had nail marks in my palms for hours afterwards.

My stomach was no where near as bad as I expected. Probably because its so flabby.

My ex had half a tattoo for years on his chest because it hurt so much.

I didn't think my foot was too bad.The wrist bone going on to my hand was awful.The vibration was something else.

My first tattoo was my wrist bone and Im So pleased it wasn’t an issue as I probably wouldn’t have got any others!

Oh sorry @Pombliboo123 , I must've scrolled too quickly over the advert and missed it! Sounds horrendous - perhaps I won't get one.

I have one on my bum that didn’t hurt at all but the one on my groin fucking hurt!

Soles of feet. Never again even tho needs touching up.

I’ve a full back piece that was fine getting done but the one on my upper foot/outer ankle never again lol ...

I’ve got one on my foot which wasn’t as painful as I expected. The other behind my ear was hellish though, I thought my head was going to explode. It looks awful too but I can’t face having it covered or removed! That was about 5 years ago and I haven’t had another tattoo since, it put me off for a long long time!

When the tattooist was lining my backpiece over my ribs I nearly fainted. Other than that, my arse was probably the worst. Not in terms of pain, which was bad enough, but I couldn't make my bum cheeks stop twitching and I felt really sick.

My ear!

SO painful but took all of about 5 minutes.

Kneecaps. Spent the entire time weeping at my terrible life choices

oh but tattooed kneecaps look so awesome Troll! I've just got a bit of one of mine done, a leaf from a big tattoo at the side going over it, and that was pretty spicy.

It looks great- but at the time I was writing a mental disclaimer in my head that if I died from pain it was my own damn fault!

Chest by a long way!

I'm really surprised at all the people saying foot. My first tattoo was my foot. It stung a bit but was bearable. I didn't find it that bad. I didn't have it numbed or anything.The tattooist asked me afterwards how many others I had and I told him that was the first one! He was a bit "Whoa!" Maybe I'm more 'hardcore' than I think ;)

A tattooist told me it was the palm of the hand. He tried it in himself with no ink in the needle to test it out. Decided not to proceed.

My first tattoo was on my back, no problem! Second was on my stomach, that was horrific... got a few more regardless then got one on my foot... never again!!! It hurt but to be honest it was the swelling and waiting for it to heal afterwards that was the worst part! I have a couple of patchy parts in it but I'm too scared to go and have it redone!

Top of my foot was absolutely fine for me.

Ribs just under boob was terrible, there was one spot where the pain just shot through me.

Bum was fine, shoulders fine, base of spine was fine, tummy fine.

I've got a tiny butterfly about 1 inch square on my stomach that was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life including childbirth, I thought I was going to die. Had 3 hours worth of vines and roses on my back and ribs - absolutely fine. The squishy bits are the most painful for me it seems! When it's on bone I can't even feel it, it's just an unpleasant vibrating sensation but no sharp pain. Had another smallish one on the inside of my forearm that was somewhere in the middle.
