My rabbit has eaten my uggs 😳

I can’t even be angry because I’ve obviously left them out I’m just completely 😳😳😳 I feel slightly sick.
Tell me your animals have also ruined expensive things so I don’t feel so completely stupid

Ddog cheese my phone. It was completely unrecognisable.

FernieB · 11/10/2017 20:41

Love that littlemiss. That’s basically life with a housebun.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 11/10/2017 21:19

My guineas are utter angels compared to the rodents I had as a child/teen.
They:

Ate shoe laces including the little plastic aglet bit, shoes in the hall or shoes on your feet. Feel a tug, look down, no laces.
They just left a crispy green end to your lace.

Onion skins , (yes I know they can't have onion but they didn't read that page)

Flour bags (paper) I thought they had little septic eyes till I found them covered in 'dust'

Some of my DSis art paper (indigo dyed) so they peed blue Shock

A good few houseplants

The Himmy pair ate their wool carpet bed and when the other piggies' carpet slipped into their cage they ate that too.

Books (mainly the covers)

My piggies now don't free range I have too many random cables they'd electrocute us all .

My rabbit ate my Vivienne Westwood bag. I was gutted.

Good old Mumsnet, always someone around the corner waiting to insult you

Pair of drapes lived a peaceful life for a dozen years. Enter housebunny.

Tasty books kept unnibbled with the help of repurposed glass shelves and fireplace screens.

Wherewithal- what is that bunny doing wedging itself between the bookcase and the wall? They are truly strange creatures. I lost mine the other day only to discover he’d wedged himself behind an open door and was perfectly contentedly staring at the wall. He’s been a devil for measuring gaps with his whiskers to see if he’ll fit (just as they’re supposed to do) and then ignoring his findings and just trying to squeeze in anyway. And he’s not a small bunny.

FernieB · 13/10/2017 11:30

BTW don’t you prefer your drapes with frilly chewed edges? Wink

wherewithal · 13/10/2017 12:27

“Ignoring his findings” - love it!

The answering machine is on top of the shelf, he may have been trying to get up there to erase a message from the vet.

Although we now usually make the drapes inaccessible when the little tailor is in that room, he does so love to run around them playing hide and seek when they’re down, we don’t have the heart to forbid any quality time with them.

Nasreen · 13/10/2017 19:44

wherewithal that is so funny seeing your bun wedged in like that! 🐰They are truly inquisitive mischievous creatures!! I have never seen so much destruction in a room from one bun. I mean that skirting is a master piece, pure art!! So symmetrical too!

TheQueenOfWands · 13/10/2017 19:49

I once lost a chinchilla inside a sofabed.

Rodents do enjoy wedging themselves places.

Jenniferturkington · 13/10/2017 19:56

Three sky remotes have had all buttons removed, one faceless baby Annabelle , multiple books, a MacBook charger (£75 😮), a rug which was being stored under a bed, tsum tsums, flip flops...
Don't you just love house buns.
