Midori - those are some seriously chilled out bunnies.

Midori1999 · 14/03/2014 18:44

Thanks. I'm just glad they appear to get on. It was a very difficult bonding, Sweetie is a trouble maker!

Gingerbics · 14/03/2014 19:49

Loving looking at all the furry ones!
Here's Puddles and Jesse, hopefully I'll be able to put a photo of them up in their first ever time outside in their run ( which we just need to put together in the morning, excited!
Sorry not the best photo, you can barely see Jesse there, will get some better shots tomorrow.

Tell me how to put photos on (I put a post on Chat but I'm none the wiser Confused )

DD has some photos on her iPhone (and internet access)

OddBoots · 17/03/2014 20:51

She's no longer with us but this was my old girl, Frisbee. Things are a bit hectic to get more piggies at the moment but one day.

quirrelquarrel · 18/03/2014 09:01

Aw! I love her little round shorthair face Odd

Yes, one day......I dream of a herd of free rangers

quirrelquarrel · 18/03/2014 09:06

70 can you see below the box you write in, it's got three smaller boxes saying "browse, no file selected"....it's above the preview message/post message buttons. And you just press browse, then select and post.

guineapiglet · 18/03/2014 12:48

Thanks to all have posted pictures of their furries, it is lovely to put names to faces ( or the other way round!) and there are some beautiful and much loved creatures out there - great to meet them all at long last!

Hope they are all out and about enjoying the sunshine and fresh grass.

Our rabbits are free range. They mooch about all day in the garden, and never go outside the gates- though they are open. They were in a run for a while, and then out with supervision. They seemed to understand very quickly where they were allowed to go, and where was out of bounds. Catching them in the evening can be interesting though... the neighbours love it.

Hope this works Grin
We don't have any baby pig photos on DD iPhone but here's a photo of our boys on Christmas Eve, wearing their hats (for a full 20 seconds)

GP3 (Dill) is the one on the left - Rex , red eyed
GP1 (Chester) on the right- smooth dark eyed

That is about the cutest thing Iv ever seen 70!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/03/2014 20:37

Grin thank you

You can see how our little (or not so little) pigletty one has got his paws under the table here.

It's difficult (as you know yourself) to get to know new guinea-pigs when you are still getting over the loss of other pigs.

But bit by bit, they get under your skin don't they Grin

GP1 is a Christmas Vetran "Wear the blinking hat son. We'll get the Christmas veg, it's worth the humiliation "

DumSpiroSpero · 18/03/2014 23:49

Aww they are all so cute - lovely to put furry faces to the names!

These are our girls - Bella is the black and ginger Peruvian, and Luna is the tri colour Abby Smile

He's real, he's real! 70's GP3 does exist Grin

They look lovely. GP1 looks resigned to his fate but GP3 seems to saying 'what the heck!' I'm all for the ritual humiliation of pets - we used to make our previous bun sit in a basket with a bow on her head at Easter. Current Bun is a boy and therefore doesn't wear bows.

FernieB · 19/03/2014 07:39

DumSpiro - your girls are so fluffy - I love a bit of wayward hair on a guinea.

guineapiglet · 19/03/2014 19:14

Oh 70, GP£ is enormous!! ANd such a lovely colour! Love their little lips!! They do look like brothers don't they!

Dumspiro - your girls are amazing, what gorgeous coats - I bet grooming them is a lot of fun - !

Fab to see so many faces, they are gorgeous....XX

guineapiglet · 19/03/2014 19:15

GP£ Blush

GP3 with apologies !

DumSpiroSpero · 19/03/2014 20:17

Smile Luna is no trouble to groom - her hair is thick and swirly but not long.

Bella is just getting to the stage where I'm wondering if I need to give her a trim round the nether regions Confused .

They are great fun to bath! The first time was a bit hit and miss, but last time we put them in the bath together - Bella first as she was a bit more chilled out about it.

They don't mind as they get spoilt rotten afterwards with cuddles, warm towels, treats and warm water bottles.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 19/03/2014 20:46

Grin I think GP£ sums it up nicely.

They didn't cost much to buy but they are very High Maintenance Boys (as I cleaned their Pighouse yesterday and put 4kg of hay inside. Because they like their own patch so they need hay in each sleepy area. And the Golden Boar Rule of one house each plus a spare means they have three hidey houses full of hay. )

But they are worth it and certainly cost less £££ than my daughter does Wink

I love the character in guinea-pigs faces, they are very complex little animals. They love their owners (must be the parsley ) but deep down they are wary, instinctively.

ConfusedPixie · 19/03/2014 21:28

No piggies but I have four ratties! Two girls and two boys. The girls are Ruby (brown stripe) and Nibbles (sandy stripe) and our boys are Howl (dark one eyed bandit) and Haku (sandy coloured).
