I told my partner's daughter that her dad was a cocaine addict. It turns out she already knew...

I was hoping this make him get help but now he is absolutely fuming with me for contacting her. I didn't do it out of mallis but I feel this was a huge error of judgement.

He's ruined it and he's not available for a relationship.
His primary relationship is with drugs.

You can't change him or have any control except to leave.

Addicts dont get help for other people's benefit

You had no business involving his Dd who is a minor, and whether he is addicted to a controlled substance or not he has every right to be angry. Have you acknowledged that to him?

What do you want to happen now?

How comfortable do you feel being in a relationship with someone who is dependent on cocaine for his mental health?

Has he said he is ending the relationship?

Dies he understand your need for him to get help?
