push back your cuticles after a warm bath

MayorNaze · 14/05/2010 16:39

surely its bananas and yogurt to make your own face pack with?

Kaloki · 14/05/2010 16:40

cyb that never worked for me, just dried the outer layer to touch, but it would smudge despite feeling dry.

I never remember to take makeup off before bed

cyb · 14/05/2010 16:41

oh yes cuticles.

and salt body scrubs

and vaseline on eyelashes

OP posts:
MayorNaze · 14/05/2010 16:43

a layer of vaseline while you sleep will smooth the roughest skin

no it doesn't it just makes your bed all slimy.

cyb · 14/05/2010 16:47

ah yes i've tried that with ankle socks on overnight actually.

Twas horrible. The sliminess woke me up.

And the semi permanant sock marks just weren't worth it

it is rank, rather like paddling through seaweed.

adding a cup of powdered milk to your bath makes also for smooth skin. apparently

cyb · 14/05/2010 16:50

arf

did you read jackie Magazine by any chance?

I bought clear mascara on the strength of one beauty colomnist's review

Whats that all about?

ruddynorah · 14/05/2010 16:50

AndieWalsh · 14/05/2010 16:52

Cleanse + tone + moisturise.

I bought toner once. Waste of time.

MayorNaze · 14/05/2010 16:53

oh these are straight from just seventeen. no no no for shiny barnets, esp brunettes you rinse with VINEGAR, sillies...

samsonara · 14/05/2010 16:55

doing a false lip line to make your lips look fuller and youthful, esp if you use a dark shade and fill it in with a lighter colour ohh and extra dab of lip gloss on the bottom lip

cyb · 14/05/2010 16:56

and pput oliver oil on your split ends

and rag roll your hair at bedtime

GetOrfMoiLand · 14/05/2010 16:58

Taking make up off. Never do. That'swhat pillowcase are for (I am not as disgusting as I sound as I change the pillowcases).

Take a paracetamol half an hour before plucking your eyebrows. Like that would bloody help.

cyb · 14/05/2010 16:59

oh I ALWAYS take make up off

Joan Collins told me too

MayorNaze · 14/05/2010 17:01

another cuticle one - rub almond oil into them.

i am really too busy to be massaging cuticles, thank you any way...

samsonara · 14/05/2010 17:02

theres' one about only sleeping on your back so that your face doesn't get scrunched and wrinkly and doing facial exercises to prevent saggy facial skin

smallishsheep · 14/05/2010 17:02

Sunscreen on your face everyday.
Am going to be a wrinkled hag by the time I'm 40

JackieNo · 14/05/2010 17:03

Doing that thing with a pencil to find out where your eyebrows should start and finish - I'm never sure which bit of your eye you're supposed to line the ends of the pencil up with

cyb · 14/05/2010 17:03

oh yes! my eyebrows fall WAY short of that imaginary line.

how are you jackie?

OP posts:
MayorNaze · 14/05/2010 17:03

oh yes - sleep on a silk pillow case to avoid wrinkles

JackieNo · 14/05/2010 17:03

Massaging cream in with 'upward' movements
