OP posts:
dairymoo · 11/05/2010 20:48

Really like it, would like to know where it's from.

smallishsheep · 11/05/2010 20:50

Hate it. Hasn't she been wearing this dress for weeks now? A bit too 'I'm embarassed to be pregnant' for my liking
NB I know she must be thrilled in reality, but it is just so chaste

OnlyWantsOne · 11/05/2010 20:50

link please

has to be nicer than Sarah's husband-resignation-speach-dress.

Huge norks.

happyland · 11/05/2010 20:51

oh I thought it showed off her bump quite nicely!

Fuzzywood · 11/05/2010 20:52

Just started the same conversation in chat, I think she looks fab. Will try and find link now.

Tootiredforgodtyping · 11/05/2010 20:54

Isn't it one of boden's party dresses?

UnrequitedSkink · 11/05/2010 20:55

Sarah's dress was AWFUL - so incredibly bland and frumpy!

bellavita · 11/05/2010 20:56

I like it.

brimfull · 11/05/2010 20:58

I admired the killer heels.
I'd have landed on my face on Downing St.

purplepeony · 11/05/2010 20:59

Lovely- nice to see her out of a tent.

Fel1x · 11/05/2010 21:02

Lovely dress, showed off the bump and looked great on her. Nice shoes too
Nicer than Sarah's dress I thought

OnlyWantsOne · 11/05/2010 21:06

please some one... link!!

McDreamy · 11/05/2010 21:08

She looked lovely!

beanlet · 11/05/2010 21:08

I liked both ladies' dresses this time

BessieBoots · 11/05/2010 21:09

Oh, I loved Sarah's dress! Wonder where it was from?

Fuzzywood · 11/05/2010 21:12

Can only find pictures of DC, not Sam, what's the matter with these news web sites, ger the important pictures up!

NanBullen · 11/05/2010 21:17

here

NanBullen · 11/05/2010 21:18

I really like it, she's not hiding the bump.

sansucre · 11/05/2010 21:37

Dairymoo: She had it made for her.

Despite Sarah Brown's dress being really lovely, it's a shame something always lets her down, this time it was her shoes and tights.

EdgarAllenPoll · 11/05/2010 21:40

i like it. i thought longer sleeves would be better though.

Oh - for goodness sake. Thought this was Mumsnet not Bitchnet.

We've just had a moment of history and you're finding the time to slag off shoes and dresses.

pigsinmud · 11/05/2010 21:45

I thought she looked great and if she has been wearing it for weeks then I like it even more - certainly not a reason to dislike it.

Thank god my dh is not PM, don't know what you lot would make of my wardrobe!

sansucre · 11/05/2010 22:15

NonnoMum:
Black sheer tights and nude shoes is not a good combination, I wasn't aware that was a bitchy comment.

As the title suggests, this is a thread about Sam's dress, not about the political aspect of tonight. If you're so keen to talk about this moment of history, maybe you should pop over to the Guardian or to Guido Fawkes blog and not even the relevant area here on Mumsnet, not Style and Beauty, just a suggestion.

soopermum1 · 11/05/2010 22:17

on a tangent, checking out NanBullen's link, aren't the Brown boys absolutely adorable (and v stylish)
