Yes it's nice that scoop dress one - purple better than grey. Ok will call em and boden and see how we get on. Thanks!

Amandoh · 05/05/2010 11:35

Oh God, that Viv Westwood one is gorgeous.

AbsOfCroissant · 05/05/2010 11:36

You people went about this all the wrong way. Should have started with:
BANNED COLOURS

  • red
  • yellow
  • blue
  • possibly green, but who even knows whether or not they're in the election
  • black
  • white

No fancy fancy patterns
Nothing low cut
Nothing strapless, in case of replicating Judy Finnegan TV award moment (not that Justine looks anything like Judy, of Richard and Judy fame)
nothing super short (don't want to do a Britney/Paris/other lame starlet)

Can't do too high end designer, because then media will be all "oh, those MN moms, SO vain and wasteful". Ideally, something high street, but higher end.

MadameCastafiore · 05/05/2010 11:36

Or this with a boyfriend jacket or one like this as will look edgy and cool - which is how you should look on the telly rather than safe

squeaver · 05/05/2010 11:38

Purple Viv Westwood one is the best on here, without a doubt.

If it must be Boden, I'd avoid overt Boden-ish patterns and also strappy summer dresses.

The purple ad red one is the nicest but with a cardi, I think.

what about this one?

LadyGardenia · 05/05/2010 11:38

I think looking at what people are suggesting those things were taken for granted Abs!

Adair · 05/05/2010 11:48

Purple VW one LOVELY. Hope to see you wearing it!

LittleWoodenCakes · 05/05/2010 11:54

Yup, the VW purple piece is perfect. I think it would really suit you Justine

ninja · 05/05/2010 12:23

so - have you chosen yet? I'm waiting with baited breath (well I'm taking a boredom tea-break

JustineMumsnet · 05/05/2010 12:26

Trying to get the VW - worried I won't do it justice though.

ninja · 05/05/2010 12:28

if you won't who will?

MmeLindt · 05/05/2010 12:30

Westwood is fab.

Send them a link to this thread and tell them that we will all email them to complain if they don't get it to you in time.

faustina · 05/05/2010 12:39

NAP do same day deliveries in london don't they?

faustina · 05/05/2010 12:42

OR ---- they have it at my-wardrobe. You could use your mn discount : )

Poledra · 05/05/2010 12:43

Oh god, Justine, you must wear that purple VW one. I want it so much but can't have it, so you Must Wear It For Me.

Babbit · 05/05/2010 12:44

Which channel is Justine on btw? Oh and when? If it's too late will have to sky+.

CHOOGIRL · 05/05/2010 12:44

Justine - I have the VW and it looks amazing (if I say so myself). It skims rather than clings iykwim. Do you have some nice heels to wear with?

KristinaM · 05/05/2010 12:48

no no NO to boden [yawn]

get the westwood one, they are fab for girls with norks

not too short for sitting on sofas etc. flashing knickers on national Tv not correct mumsnet image

traceybath · 05/05/2010 12:50

Please don't do boden - its too cliche-tastic.

Hope NAP are helping you

KristinaM · 05/05/2010 12:54

my wardrobe also have several Anglomania dresses but their warehouse is in Nottingham.

blossoming · 05/05/2010 12:59

Justine, can I suggest this dvf dress. It has a bit more shape than the VW.
It's my favourite dress of the season, but don't have it sadly.

orangina · 05/05/2010 13:01
