Quite agree. I'm going to buy another pair tomorrow. Brilliant for my revolting old feet!

cornsilk · 14/04/2010 21:35

do they make your feet look nice then?

blametheparents · 14/04/2010 21:38

They are soooo comfy.
I was suffering last year with plantar fasciitis (basically a very sore heel!) and they were the only shoes I cold wear without pain.
I have got 2 pairs now and wear them in the house as slippers to stop the problem re-curring and when the weather is warmer I will be wearing them all the time.

cornsilk · 14/04/2010 21:39

I want a pair now

doglover · 14/04/2010 21:40

Nothing could make them look good! I suffer with plantaar fasciitis so finding shoes that fit comfortably is REALLY hard. I'll be wearing Fitflops this summer.

Rexy · 14/04/2010 21:40

They are fab -so comfy and not like normal flip flops. They are definitely worth the price.

doglover · 14/04/2010 21:41

We cross-posted, blametheparents! Glad that a fellow-sufferer has found some relief, too!

brimfull · 14/04/2010 22:01

ooh I have plantar fasciitis
think I'll go for the bornze ones

thanks

Just this vry evening I was given a pair as an early birthday present and they are comfy, look ok with jeans. I am quite impressed.
I will have to get back to you about my wobbly arse though. Give me a few weeks...

kalo12 · 14/04/2010 22:25

brill. i wear mine from march to november, exclusively bar job interviews and weddings

kalo12 · 14/04/2010 22:26

barr (sp?) as in except. Although sure they would be very comfy for a bar job

brimfull · 14/04/2010 22:27

wasn't even considering the flab fighting aspect of them
I assumed that was all bullshit

Will report back also

Hmm not sure. Just got some, they are well made and sturdy, with a nice thick bouncy sole, but that's about it really.

Not particularly flattering, and actually not wonderfully comfy either as I've got a high instep and the straps are a bit low-slung for me.

And I don't believe in a million years they'll give me great (or even slightly better) legs

But if they're comfy on you I'd recommend them purely as a good ol' pair of sturdy flip-flops.

cornsilk · 14/04/2010 22:36

which are the nicest then? I like the ones in the link

peggotty · 14/04/2010 22:40

I've been eyeing these up in my local shoe shop. I like the red ones.

MamaGlee · 14/04/2010 22:40

hmm

would consider buying kids ones for myself

£50 too much

worried they're a bit penisy though

thelunar66 · 14/04/2010 22:41

They look nice. But I'm a toe post virgin. I try toe-post ones on every year and they hurt big time. Will these hurt less?

also, the across strap bit doesn't look to be adjustable and I have very narrow feet... are fitflops for wide or narrow feet?

Anyone?

peggotty · 14/04/2010 22:42

You can get them much cheaper than £50. What makes them penisy? Can't be any more penisy than crocs shuuurely!?

CiderIUpAndSetIFree · 14/04/2010 22:48

Mine were £26 on t'internet somewhere, just keep google shopping them

I find them fine width wise, but I've got wide feet, so prob not much help.

brimfull · 15/04/2010 06:56

lol at penisy

I can get them from JL for around £38 as I have discount there -natch

OP posts:
brimfull · 15/04/2010 06:57

aksherly make that
£33.75

Love them, on my 3rd year now and have 3 pairs. Don't like the boots though so haven't got a winter equivilant yet.

They do rub at first but most new shoes do and my latest pair only rubbed for a couple of days and that was a lot of walking . My calves have got bigger since wearing them though.
