do you fill your eyebrows? Why?

I have been watching some makup tutorials and youtube and they always fill their eyebrows. Why is this, what sort of shape is best?

Just wondering if I should be doing something to mine, I don't even really pluck (just stray ones).

navy you have good brows...and how goddamn young are you?

I might be tempted to give 'em the trademark cyb trim however...

Have never filled my eye brows, never thought too. I get them threaded about once every 4-6 weeks, and they always trim them at the same time.

zone (how often do you namechange!) I'm 26, I don't want to be discovering these beauty secrets when I've gone to the dogs!

I tried the powder thing - I looked odd! going to get an angled brush tomorrow - doesn't the powder just fall off?

also this trim business - I'm scared!

I was terrified before I trimmed mine the first time, but it really is worth it. I feel like a rag-bag without doing it now...

Be brave! It's only a tiny amount that you remove and it grows back (far too) quickly.

As for the filling, it just takes practice. It's easy to make them too harsh, you'll need a blond eyebrow pencil really. mmmwine's tip is definitely a good one for keeping things looking subtle but groomed.

I just have mine tinted, so I don't need to fill them, have considered having them semi perm tatooed, but worried I might look peculiar.

I did the trim! Right eye looks really good, got carried away with left eye and have a slight chunk missing!

Do you reckon trimming might be a bad thing in the long run Will my eyebrow hair grow thicker and longer if I trim regularly?

Despite having dark eyebrows, they're ridiculously sparse, always have been, but the hairs are quite long, so even though I do groom the brows and wear eyebrow pencil, they've always look rather scraggy. Until today when I read this thread and in particular, DriventoDistraction's advice re. trimming ones eyebrows (and how to do it) and oh m goodness, they now look pretty amazing - so thank you Thank You THANK YOU

Oh, and the best eyebrow pencil I've ever used is not available over here, but should anyone find themselves in the US, go to Sephora and invest in an Anastasia of Beverly Hills eyebrow wiz pencil as it is marvellous.
