Off to Barcelona end of April/beg of May, Temp should be 18/19 degrees. To save money on flights we have booked 1 hold bag between 2 plus hand luggage so we need to pack carefully.....

I deffo need:
Swimming stuff (hotel has a spa)
Gym stuff (and a gym...)
evening clothes and day time sight seeing clothes....

It's teh shoes that will get me, I will try to take too many and I know I can't....

Second, gym? Gym?! What is this gym of which you speak? Don't go to Barcelona to exercise woman.
The right dress could pair up for day and night when I was young, free and single living it up in Barcelona for 2 weeks I had a fabulous vintage 50s summer dress that I wore to death. Do pack for all weather though- it rained the first few days I was there which I had not banked on at all.
Did I mention I'm jealous?

I would go for maxi dress, cardigan, flat sandals for eve

sightseeing - you walk loads in Barcelona so sandals again if very comfy or wear your trainers, jeans and light tops, can wear cardigan over.

one pair cycle shorts and top for gym, swimsuit

really depends how long you will be there for

OK, I can not wear gym trainers out and about outside of teh gym, I will look like a twat I think.

So I need trainers, day time shoes (ballet pumps,wedges or converse?) and an evening pair of heels.

Plus a rain coat and I think a nice cardi.

in the end i wishe di had swallowed vanity and got somethign really unattractive like htose horrble nike air things or somesuch

I was thinking leggings, ballet pumps, nice long line vest top and a little blazer in case it gets chilly....chucking on my RUSSELL ATHLETIC waterproof will spoil teh image somewhat..

you will need comfy shoes for sure - as barcelona is lovely to explore but you may well find you could end up doing a lot of walking.

Though we did do a lot of walking my friends that went got a bus journey ticket around the city so it dropped you off at all the attractions, football stadium, bull ring, cathedral, rambles.

Si I would take converse and sandles/ballet pumps and swim in a pool and walk as your excersise, your body does need a rest from the gym and you should plan rests into your training so make sure one of your planned rest from trainign is on this long weekend

Well my converse are comfy but they deffo do not go with leggings, but could do skinny jeans but might get sweaty crotch if too hot....

Take a maxi dress and cardi and waer converse - no one will look and if your to trarted up people think your a loon anyway

Actually fish you have apoint, I could go and raid MIL's cruise wardrobe (yes she has a cruising wardrobe...) She will have a pair of gold lame sandals I can borrow.
