"Johnnie B" range for teenagers how could anyone get this so wrong? I might start a facebook group "I bet I can't find 10 teenagers who'd be seen dead in Johnnie B"

OP posts:

its ok - for the odd 11- 14 mkt specially
btu tbh £££ when i can get boys jeansform next or h and m

SuSylvester · 25/02/2010 14:08

coudl imagine girls at work wearing girls stuff
but shit its ££

TotalChaos · 25/02/2010 14:13

snort at the edgy crumpled look of the girls' tops.

castille · 25/02/2010 14:17

My 12yo quite likes some of it

The teeny tiny shorts, skirts and bikinis mostly

Dumbledoresgirl · 25/02/2010 14:22

Please link to a specific item. I don't have a teenage girl yet but a brief glance at the girls' dresses reminded me of the usual surfer's look.

I do have 2 teenage boys (well, 12 and 13 yos) and I liked what I saw (apart from the price). My boys would wear that. Am I condemning them to everlasting ridicule? (not that I would ever afford Boden)

SuSylvester · 25/02/2010 14:23

ext boys skinny jeans last season were £9
dark rinse plain well made

why would i spend more?

Dumbledoresgirl · 25/02/2010 14:24

Not these obviously.

Kneazle · 25/02/2010 14:26

Not for my teen - but I can see some of the preppy types who wear polo shirts with the collar up liking it.

Kneazle · 25/02/2010 14:28

I think I saw a boy in those trousers Dumbledoresgirl I assumed he was high and had gone out in his jammies

thedollshouse · 25/02/2010 14:28

The teenage kids in our town wear these sort of clothes. I'm so out of touch I wouldn't really have a clue.

GetOrfMoiLand · 25/02/2010 14:28

My dd would like some of this stuff. She's 14.

Not my taste but it is hers. It is very Jack Wills/Hollister. But a helluva lot cheaper than both.

Nice vest for £12 and tops for £20 e.g.

SuSylvester · 25/02/2010 14:28

i dont likeboys in joging bottoms either
its a bit
effeminate

littledawley · 25/02/2010 14:28

I like it. Am hoping that my teens will wear stuff like that rather than grungy crap - eldest is only six though so I have a way to go!

GetOrfMoiLand · 25/02/2010 14:29

I am not showing the site to her.

Am not having a Boden wearing daughter and a Fat Face wearing mother, with me (in Tesco clothing) in the middle.

Tortington · 25/02/2010 14:30

eek - i dont think its all that bad, i think that its fine for 'tweeners' when mum still influences and choses stuff to help you be smart - but from age 14 no 14 yo girl would wear that. ime

the boys stuff looks very upper MC oxford rugger esq

BariatricObama · 25/02/2010 14:31

can definitely see nephews wearing this stuff. they are v. fresh face cricket playing types

SuSylvester · 25/02/2010 14:31

i agree.

teh tweener stage is an odd one

spec as girls can be quite tall then

steamedtreaclesponge · 25/02/2010 14:31

Not sure about teens, but I love it! And it's cheaper than regular Boden stuff too (and waaaay cheaper than Jack Wills which is a total rip-off)...

traceybath · 25/02/2010 14:34

Well I've got the white skinny jeans and they're lovely.

Think I've found my boden niche

BariatricObama · 25/02/2010 14:34

jack willis is wank

Kneazle · 25/02/2010 14:34

see these

jeans

I saw a pair like that in Primark today for £6

SuSylvester · 25/02/2010 14:34

i cannot buy any more white trousers
am hurley on speed

MaryAnnSingleton · 25/02/2010 14:36

think it's ok for 13-14 yr old boys - ds would look nice in them - it's just your usually surfy stuff-with less silly stuff on it than Fat Face - and more expensive. He does have teen children,in his defence.

BariatricObama · 25/02/2010 14:37

su - do you wear sheer tops with boobies on show as well?

UnquietDad · 25/02/2010 14:37

It's rather unfortunate that the site says "Shop JB Girls"...
