Just about to go and have my holiday pedicure and fancy a change form my usual dark red. Spent ages looking for inspiration yesterday (how sad am I????), but nothing really grabbed me.

So today's vital question

Lilibet, mine are hot pink, cha cha cha!

expatinscotland · 11/07/2005 09:49

They're a lovely pink!

spykid · 11/07/2005 09:49

A lovely orangey red, lovely with a tan

Tinker · 11/07/2005 09:50

None at the moment. Urgh, hate naked toenails. But pink is supposed to be the most flattering.

lou33 · 11/07/2005 09:51

mine are a milk chocolate colour

sweetmonkey · 11/07/2005 09:52

mines dark red at mo, sometimes have bright pink too. how about a french pedicure, i think that looks lovely

lilibet · 11/07/2005 09:54

I had a french last year and it chipped on the first day - felt a skank all fortnnight (sad) tho' no one probably noticed!

Ooh, lou33, is it a revlon one by any chance, called Stone Edge?? They've stopped making it and it was my fave. I'd be delighted to hear that there's an alternative though...

PiccadillyCircus · 11/07/2005 09:56

Mine are dark red. Usually pink though.

Will need someone else to paint them soon as the bump gets larger (although I can still see my feet at the moment )

Tinker · 11/07/2005 09:59

Milk chocolate colour does sound nice.

Blossomhill · 11/07/2005 10:00

Cerise pink, my favourite colour

charleepeters · 11/07/2005 10:00

blood red

Emod · 11/07/2005 10:09

WideWebWitch · 11/07/2005 10:10

Dark wine, like Rouge Noir but a cheaper make

Emod · 11/07/2005 10:10

like this!

suzyj · 11/07/2005 10:13

OMG indeed emod!! Sisters in varnish, eh? I've been vaguely looking for an alternative to that colour for ages, but they all seem to have sparkle in, whereas that stone edge one was opaque/plain and just like milk chocolate. Mmm

Emod · 11/07/2005 10:13

NailFinity 215 Pearl Marron to be precise

Emod · 11/07/2005 10:14

yes! it was lovely! with no sparkles! just a lovely opaque colour!

Sisters! Have never met anyone else who wears it. I actually only ran out last year as I bought a job lot from Hammersmith Boots before I moved to Dorset 6 years ago

moozoboozo · 11/07/2005 10:15

Pink. Some gloopy Loreal affair, I think. Couldnt tell youthe sahde or anything.

Emod · 11/07/2005 10:15

suzyj · 11/07/2005 10:16

Well, just googled it and we may well be in luck
so try this link

moozoboozo · 11/07/2005 10:16

Please do Emod!!

Emod · 11/07/2005 10:17

Paint your nails in the evening, taking it right onto your toes and not worrying about keeping it on the nail. Let them dry, go to bed and in the morning scrub gently with an old toothbrush.

all the varnish comes off your skin and leaves behind a lovely neat nail

If you are rubbish at painting your nails (like me) this is a godsend.
