they deffo give i had real misgivings about mine

Will try and squeeze into them and see how it goes cos they are really nice boots.

I nearly sent my etiennes back in the autumn as they were a struggle to zip up but now they are fine, they do give quite quickly

LL - are they too big against your measurements - do you need to go down a calf size with them? I've two pairs of Duo and have had to go down a shoe size but have found calf size okay. I like the look of the Talamores - what are they like in the flesh? Thanks!

i am very pleased with the talamore boots, especially at bargain sale price. they are my first duo boots

i wanted casual-ish boots but with a heel and these are fine, the colour ( i have brown) and the stacked heel make them less dressy IMHO

they are large fitting on the foot but tight on the calf, although they become looser within a few hours of wearing them

i also wanted long boots ie that come right up to your knee, as i wear them with skirts and dislike the mid calf baggy wellie look

if you are very small i would check the height will be ok for you

Millie1 - the Pavia boots are too big against my measurements and the Talamore too small on the leg. I haven't tried them on again yet but don't think they will even stretch enough to do them up. The Pavia boots fit well in the foot but very gappy at the top. The Pavias definately have to go back.

The Talamores are really nice, the leather is much darker than on the website and I would say they are quite casual.

My Rhine boots came the other day- I haven't taken them off since! The quality is fantastic and they are even more gorgeous than I expected. Thanks for the tip off duckyfuzz.
