Fashionistas - what do you think of this?

Right, now first of all I will say upfront that I am not interested in any sanctimonious comments on price ok?
As it happens the item in question is heavily discounted but I'd prefer not to have my sanity/morality picked over by reference to the purchase or non-purchase of a piece of clothing.
So anyone who wants to post simply to tell me that cardigans are available for £1.50 in primark or that they last bought something in Spring 2003 don't bother .

So, this is the item - saw it today, as I said, heavily discounted and in my size .
Am a sucker for a military piece, thought it would make a good car coat for when weather picks up.

...however, there is a slight pantomime feel to it which is why I didn't snap it up immediately.

Opinions please.

(If it helps I am shortish (5 4" ish) and slim (8).)

I know i've very late in the game to throw my tuppence in but...it's a bit..er...directional isn't it.

Either you are Agyness Deyn's younger sister or you are so superdelicious looking that you are just proving to us you can look fabu in just about anything,which i think is more likely,in which case may i suggest a morrison's placcy bag(only joking..i meant waitrose of course)

If i bought this my DH would suspect i had suddenly done a quantum leap into dotage and would soon be following with more crazy old lady fashions such as giant leopard fur hat with matching leggings and fuschia lippie 2cm around perimeter of actual lips(taking inspiratiion from a dear elderly neighbour)

or he might just take me out the back and shoot me to put me out of my misery..(joke..i hope)
