Just wondering really if you do or don't.

I wear it every day. Would not go out with out it.

Not that I'm a dog without it though
Just feel better with a bit of tinted moisturiser, bronzer, gloss and mascara and I can face the world.

NP couldnt agree more, i got some french connection gloss for christmas . its really good but my god is it sticky!! grrrr

elastamum · 30/06/2005 13:26

I always slosh on a bit when I am working as our clients are mostly pretty smartly dressed. Might put on a bit of lippy before doing the school run if I get up early enough but am really not that bothered, although I do look much better with some makeup as I am rather pale. some of the mums at school look like they have stepped out of the salon, dont know how they do it???

soapbox · 30/06/2005 13:26

I can't stand the spidery mascara look!

Second the lip liner outside the lip line as well and a different colour!

WideWebWitch · 30/06/2005 13:26

I wouldn't dream of going to work without make up though.

nailpolish · 30/06/2005 13:40

i really like the make up saskia wears on bb

NomDePlume · 30/06/2005 13:43

No, I don't.

Only wear it when I'm going on a night out, and then it's pretty minimal (tinted moisturiser, brown mascara & neutral lips). Quite dull really !

lou33 · 30/06/2005 13:59

I slob about the house without it, but if i have to go out i put it on. I look ill without it.

bundle · 30/06/2005 14:05

hardly ever remember to put it on. have some Burt's Bees lipgloss on (uncoloured so prob doesn't really count) today. hair back in ponytail, usual scraggy work stuff.

champs · 30/06/2005 14:21

only on special occasions or when performing (ooo get me) I dont even think about it really. dont feel like i am a mess without it as dont really need it (sounds rather arogant but not meant to)
although saying that, if I am going to a trade show (beauty) I wear at least mascarra and lip gloss,
I dont do foundation at all, Love bronzer tho. most lipsticks make me look like a dolly so I stick to lip glosses.

When I am doing a make-up for someone other than family I wear a little just to give client confidenve in me.

going on and on now but when I went for Beauty Therapy jobs, It was a compulsory part of the job that you wore at least mascarra and lip colour. I do feel some salons go OTT tho, also most of the make up counter assisitants in shops are way to made up.

bunny2 · 30/06/2005 14:24

I LOVE wearing makeup. Cant be bothered every day but when I do, I feel so much more gorgeous. I kiss dh more, flirt with the delivery men and walk with a spring in my step

PiccadillyCircus · 30/06/2005 14:27

I don't on a day-to-day basis.

I occasionally put some on when going out. And it probably does improve me, but I feel the naked faced me is perfectly OK too.

And I get bored of the faff of taking it off afterwards as well.

bunny2 · 30/06/2005 14:28

I leave it on till morning then I wash it off in the shower - I am a bit of a slut though

PiccadillyCircus · 30/06/2005 14:30

Having read more of the comments, I now feel bad that I don't wear it for work.

Must look at the other people at work to see whether they wear it.

madmarchhare · 30/06/2005 14:31

Yep, everyday. If I dont I feel crap AND once dared myself to go the local shop without it just after DS was born where I bumped into XP who said 'Ive seen you looking better'. If I didnt, I think it would only be a matter of weeks before I was seen wondering roung in flesh coloured leggings and a poncho.

dillydally · 30/06/2005 14:35

Flesh coloured leggings

Brings back memories of that comedy terrorist "attending" Prince Williams 21st birthday party

champs · 30/06/2005 14:36

PiccadillyCircus -- i dont wear it for non beauty work.

bunny2 · 30/06/2005 14:36

pmsl leggings

PiccadillyCircus · 30/06/2005 14:38

At least I don't wear leggings .

When did I last wear leggings I wonder....probably about 15 years ago. But they were vibrantly coloured and patterned .

dillydally · 30/06/2005 14:48

But obviously ski pants rock

northerner · 30/06/2005 15:05

pmsl at flesh coloured leggings

Hee Hee Hee.

I used to wear ski pants but NEVER leggings. And with ski pants the stirrups (is that what they are called?) had to be outside of my shoes. I had a lovely green ribbed pair IIRC.

I don't go out w/o makeup, either. Tinted moisturiser, mascara and lippy are my absoulte minimum.

Tortington · 30/06/2005 15:32

nope - only occasionally at work on mufftyday friday.

always when going out on the p*ss

wordgirl · 30/06/2005 15:41

If you wear make-up all the time then what do you do when you're going out somewhere and want to look really gorgeous? Do you just wear more make-up?
