if i wore black tights under the leggings so they looked less lacy, would that be better, or should i jsut ditch the leggings?

i should stick to boden

Tizzyjacko · 19/12/2009 16:46

I like the lipstick but not with full goth eyes as well!

Lulumama · 19/12/2009 16:47

no, would just have fine line of black liquid eyeliner and mascara, like i usually wear.

drlovesmincepies · 19/12/2009 16:51

lipstick is fab, you could lighten it up a bit by wearing a tiny bit of gloss on top. those leggins would look fab under a wool jumper dress

Lulumama · 19/12/2009 16:53

a boden wool jumper dress?

ok, am feeling a bit less faux pas-y

grumpypants · 19/12/2009 16:53

Leggings are great - I would wear them with big boots and a dress.

Lulumama · 19/12/2009 16:58

so i'm not too old then?

thank you all very mcuh for your comments x

noddyholder · 19/12/2009 17:00

Flame · 19/12/2009 17:00

It really depends on if that is all you're wearing...

Lulumama · 19/12/2009 17:12

ah, the noddy seal of approval!

flame, i am a sensible old lady, i will be wearing a thermal vest with it of course!!

like lipstick
have an aversion to lace generally

TulipsAndTinsel · 19/12/2009 17:21

Just as long as you wear a skirt over the leggings unlike the rather large woman at the supermarket last week. Even more unsettling she had decided for her own obscure reasons that commando was the way to go [boak]

Lulumama · 19/12/2009 17:22

i shall be wearing Big Granny Pants.

i did also have an aversion to lace, but do like the look of these leggings

Ronaldinhio · 19/12/2009 17:38

I got the lace body from topshop and I think I'm fab in it (probably mutton)
my lips are too small for gothy lipstick so I stick with gothy eyes pale lips
lace leggings good I think in the right circs

Ronaldinhio · 19/12/2009 17:41

oh and I wear a little nude vest from m&s under the body so you could wear ordinary tights under the leggings if you were worried about cellulite hanging out

(I would be)

Lulumama · 19/12/2009 17:41

thanks ron, is xmas day the right circs for lace leggings.

OP posts:
cyteen · 19/12/2009 17:42

Lipstick is fab. Leggings too close to the hideous old scratchy pair I had as a sartorially-challenged 18 year old, so made me shudder a bit, but I'm sure you'll look good in them

Lulumama · 19/12/2009 17:48

dress i'm going to wear is just above the knee s o will cover the lumpy bits.

thanks cyteen, that made me snort!

Ronaldinhio · 19/12/2009 17:50

I think so lulu they'll go down very well in some areas...my dh becomes quite unnecessary in the face of perfectly decents women clad in lace

Lulumama · 19/12/2009 17:50

i have a feeling my Dh will be the same.

FolornHope · 19/12/2009 17:51
