somehow I think that my princesse Tam Tam dresses (yes, I ended up buying another) are going to be getting a good workout over the next 2 weeks .. my birthday, Xmas and NYE plus everything in between!

going to a friend down the road for dinner, they also have a newborn ... then back home before 12 to catch the midnight view of London from out garden (we're on hill, amazing view)

Early bottle of wine about 6pm at wine bar (leave dcs home alone), come home, sea bass for dinner cooked by dh, probably asleep by 10

I might be going out for ny for the first time since 2000 and I have no money for anything new, and all of my nicer clothes are too small ARGH.

I will be stuffing my face with grapes in Spain. (Tis tradition) DD in bed, MiL struggling to stay awake, me and BiL drinking Laurent Perrier Rose. DP with a beer. I will have Louboutin Ballet flats on my feet, Seven Jeans and a nice top. I will be saying things like "isn't it great we don't have to worry about getting home on NYE" but really thinking that I should be clubbing in London. When did I turn middle aged [sigh]?
