clare grogan

CybilLiberty · 30/11/2009 20:12

Oh yeah! She was everyboys fantasy that I knew, anyway, all 5 foot nothing of her. I was a great 5 foot 9 lump by comparison. I longed to be pixie-ish

A bit of lene lovich too

CybilLiberty · 30/11/2009 20:15

My best friend was a total Siouxsie looky likey, she could crimp her hair and back comb it like nobodys business.

Siouxsie hasn't aged at all, have you seen her recently?

I would like to have looked like Chrissie Hynde. I didn't.

purepurple · 30/11/2009 20:26

Siouxsie Sioux is still beautiful, yes. I was a dab hand at the crimping and backcombing too, along with lots of hairspray.

FreeGeorgeJackson · 30/11/2009 20:26

CybilLiberty · 30/11/2009 20:27

Carol Decker I even had the baby pink leather jacket like she wore in one of the videos www.youtube.com/watch?v=g98l1pgVtLo

bluebump · 30/11/2009 20:31

Bjork! Hah hah. Particularly this look and a bit of this look

mummymorgan · 30/11/2009 20:33

Christina Aguilera. The whole fake tan, bleached hair and slapper dress sense 'hangs head in shame and runs into the corner to contemplate ones past with a shudder'

badgermonkey · 30/11/2009 20:49

Would have liked to think I was like Louise Wener.

I was the second-hand version though!

BitOfFun · 30/11/2009 20:51

Molly Ringwald in Pretty In Pink.

BonjourIvresse · 30/11/2009 20:52

Justine Frischmann from Elastica. Bjork.

LetThemEatCake · 30/11/2009 21:18

In my early teens, Madonna, Blondie, Kate Bush.

from about 17 onwards, Helena Christensen (sp?) and Naomi Campbell

RockBird · 30/11/2009 21:30

Debbie Harry. Unfortunately the gorgeous Debs I ain't and I just looked like a fat heifer with bleached hair

feedthegoat · 30/11/2009 21:34

BonjourIvresse - I spent a fortune trying to get my hair cut like Justine Frishmann. It was fine and flyaway and was never going to work but sadly it did not stop me.

squeaver · 30/11/2009 21:36

Bonnie Tyler.

Unfortunately, I'm not joking.

Cyb - I had a friend at Uni who was the exact double of the SOS woman.
