do you hoik up your boobs?

i had my first bra fitting since DS (8months ago) and am still traumatised by it!
to cut a very long story short the bra-witch refused to listen to me saying that the bra didn't feel like it fitted and i was clearly not the same size i was pre-PG.
she got shirty and told me that i had to always lift inside the bra and hoik my boobs up. (grab them and lift them into cleavage position)

WTF? is boob hoiking normal - have i been putting my bra on wrong for years????

I have a sort of pulley contraption, with levers and cogs to get mine in.

I hoik or lean downwards and have been doing so for at least 15 years, since I saw the light and had a proper fitting. Post breast reduction, I am still a 32F

I'm 34. How can I not know about this??

I bend forwards when I put mine on and yes a fair bit of hoiking and general re-arranging is involved too.

at rigby and peller, they said to bend forwards and let them fall into the bra, so I do that - and then I hoik, when I am standing up straight again

Presumably not required in a B cup?

God yes.. I hoik every half hour or so. sometimes I forget myself and hoik in mixed company

I put the wires up under my boobs, lean forward and put the straps up (and sometimes hoik/lower breast back into cup). Hoiking and dropping is necessary for me in half-cup balconettes.

Otherwise my 32GGs point to the floor which isn't too bad until it gets cold........

I think most people over a B cup have/need to, to make sure the underwire (or seam if you lucky enough to get away with no underwire ) is flat against the ribcage.

Mrsflux if they are sagging after hoiking I would think your new bra isn't such a good fit.

Unfortunately also yes to having them down around my navel in stupid hideous crap rubbish nasty nursing bra.

That's what those women were up to in the 60s, they were cremating nursing bras! I would happily dance in the ashes of mine.

I gave DH an enornous laugh a few years ago when I told him that I would pass the pencil test (and therefore didn't need to wear a bra)as I could hold a pencil under my boobs very easily (look no hands!)
After he stopped laughing he had to explain to me that to pass the pencil should drop

Mine are fake (so very pert) and I still hoik it gives them a better shape and bumps up the cleavage a bit. Saying that though I used to hoik my AAs as well!

In fact, I put a bra on leaning forward so the breasts are falling into the cups and then stand up and scoop under and round the side to ensure what should be in front is in front
