I get loads of shoes in Clarks. I love the fact they always try and sell you a 'matching' handbag - makes me feel like I'm in the fifties.

I have those, in the red - they are lovely, and great for the leg profile. Not quite as red in the flesh as on the pic, but still a lovely colour - wish I had seen them earlier cos want the black patent but size 7s have sold out. Can't wait to wear them - was hoping black knitted dress from Boden would arrive today for party on Sunday but hasn't. If you are thinking about buying them, just do it!

Have bought many a height-of-fashion-yet-bloody-comfy pair from there, and have been complimented by all and sundry on them.

Last year's top picks were my beautiful leather knee-high boots, god those beauties feel like gloves... a pair of black mid-heel courts for work that I wore until they died, and a gorge pair of tan t-bar open-toe sandals that I had invented in my head and couldn't find anywhere until I stumbled across them in Clarks for a mere £40.

Once you get past the Hush Puppy-esque loafers and grim hiking boot style things, there's a myriad of lovely shoes to be found. AND they do half sizes. Brilliant.

Curse you moondog. I have just bought myself a pair of lovely tan leather heels for work, which I'm very happy about...but I want those red shoes too.
