I did start another thread awhile ago but can't find it so here we go.

Adding before pics to profile now.

DH is already panicking and offering me money to go to hairdressers.

No-one cares? Fine

All done though.

NorkilyChallenged · 24/11/2009 20:06

Where's the after picture?

And would it suit curly/wavy hair? Had planned a hairdresser trip tomorrow but dd2 has now got the runs and is banned from nursery for 48 hrs so i don't have a lovely long lunch hour from work to go... contemplating the MN haircut just to be done with it

JackBauer · 24/11/2009 20:07

Seriously? I'm all alone?

Am not uploading 'done' picture until someone acknowledges me!

It is great, all the scraggy dead bits at the end have gone and it feel so much lighter.
Don't recommend drinking a glass of wine before you tip your head upside down over the bin though

Would this work on just-about-shoulder length hair? My bonce is seriously in need of taming but I am skinto.

Oh, and how do I find out what to do, please?

JackBauer · 24/11/2009 20:12

Am uplaoding destructions in crappy pissed image form onto my profile. There is a video on you tube and links on MN somewhere but I am searchily challenged ATM.

My hair is shoulder length, I do have to do 2 ponytails, one at the front as shown and one at the back of my head on the crown as well.

pmsl did you crochet bender jb?

bluebump · 24/11/2009 20:17

I am going to do this at the weekend when I have more daylight. I did try it on the weekend just gone and only took about an inch off. I need to work on where to position my pony tail as I wear my hair on a side parting and had the pony tail pretty much at the front so there weren't many layers on one side. Good job I wear my hair up pretty much all the time so I doubt anyone would notice if it was all wonky!

heartofgold · 24/11/2009 20:17

(niiice hair btw )

JackBauer · 24/11/2009 20:17

Ah princess, and you probably paid to have lovely hair.
Hah!

Crochet Bender is AWESOME!

JackBauer · 24/11/2009 20:19

Did you? Seriosuly? DD1 loves you so much for that. She spotted it while I was browsing one day bored and begged and begged for it. great pattern, thanks!
It took me frigging ages as well! He has pipe cleaners in his arms and legs too so he is poseable!
He sleeps with her every night.

But enough about Bender, what about my hair!

OP posts:
JackBauer · 24/11/2009 20:24

Oh that's easy Princess, I don't want to be on film!
I am ok with headshots but fullbody? No fricking way.

OP posts:
JackBauer · 24/11/2009 20:27

bluebump, that's the beauty of it as it is layered even you can't tell if it is wonky.

OP posts:
FairyLightsForever · 24/11/2009 20:31

I've done mine a couple of times since your last thread inspired me! i love the cut and have had so many compliments!

I'm leaving the layers slightly longer now because then I can wear it curly when I can't be bothered to straighten it, so norkily challenged, yes it can, but don't cut it too short, you can always chop a little more off if it's not short enough .

I do mine the same way JB

heartofgold · 24/11/2009 20:34

srsly sorry it took so long, pipecleaners is inspired though. i had some vague plan to do them all but nothing's come of it so far...
