Hello

OK that's the third person in as many days that have asked when the baby is due, I'm not pregnant, do have a 5 month old usually with me when complete stangers ask me this, so think know that I must be wearing the wrong type of dresses and tops or I'm just really fat and have bad posture, both are actually true so I'm so in need of help!

Details:

Size 14 Top
36 D boobs
Size 14/16 Bottom
Good Legs
Baby Belly and csection pouch
Brown Hair
Blue Eyes

I guess I should post some links to clothes I have worn whilst being asked or touched by strangers to give you an idea so will hunt out links and post.

Please help me!

Nik x

Arrrgh! Poor you. What rude fucks all these people are. I would never ask anyone if they were pregnant unless it was overwhelmingly obvious that they were.

Well, on the bright side, you have good legs and big boobs. Big boobs are great for hiding a less than flat tummy as the right top will hang straight down from your nipples and then fall away from you tum, so that it does not protrude from your top(this should work provided that your boobs stick out more than your tummy does!). Try a longish tunic top with some jeggings and boots. Then you can show your good legs whilst covering your tum.

Good luck!

Hi
I would never say either and it's always when I have my baby with me - do they think I'm mad and have a shorter pregnancy than everyone else!

Boobs(look quite small to me as used to be 34GG) stick out more than tummy and I have been wearing tunic tops and think this is the problem as they make me look pregnant

This is one item i was wearing pretty much the same as photo with cardy and boots:

Have I got it completely wrong - do I need weight loss surgery to stop the comments!

Lovely clothes IMO... I have the same problem. I have been asked a few times recently. The problem is you wear looser/empire line stuff cos you have a tummy then people think you're pregnant but if you wore tight stuff they'd think so even more!

I think I need to lay off the chocolate a bit, but I'm not huge. Size 14 and 5'9". I've started wearing Spanx as a matter of course. Not very comfy but at least they keep you warm in this weather...

Stylelostinlabour · 18/11/2009 18:43

Minko you sound just like me - I'm not massive, don't need own postcode or anything I'm a 14 in most shops but being 5'8 I some times go for a 16, wouldn't mind but I'm now a stone lighter than when before pregnant and I'm going WW and doing it sensibly as baby is only 5 months old.

Not sure what I'm meant to wear as at this rate I'll be never go out in public again becoming rather self aware (and I had spanx on when it was said!)

Need help with top ideas?

style, i love the clothes you ive been wearing although on me they would definately make me look pregnant. I find that anything that has rouching under the bust or is belted under the bust and flows out definately makes me look pregnant and not fat.

I am most likely bigger than you. im only 5"3 size 14/16 and my dd2 is 10 weeks old so im still very wobbley.

i've found a hanky hem top to be most flattering with a long vest underneath.

but also found a wrap dress not too bad

Stylelostinlabour · 18/11/2009 22:01

Thanks I'll have a look for hanky hem, congrats on dd2

I was hoping with my height they would flatter rather than fatter! everyone says tummy then this still but how very wrong . humph if it isn't bad enough after having a baby trying to look nice without fendin off comments.

What makes it worse I was loving my new look as well humph humph humph
