I have small feet but large calves (I walk loads) and the only boots which I've found to fit are from Evans. They do some great Boots.

Yeah I also have small feet which doesnt help (& I'm short)

Will have to see if Evans is still open round here.

I tried on some lace up ones in New Look which were nice but they were too long and couldnt bend my knees properly

Duo apparently.
Haven't ventured there myself yet, but I'm led to believe that it is the solution for both thin and fat calved folk.

Well I looked in Evans but didnt like any. Will look for a bigger store but I also have th eproblem that they start at a 4 and I am a small4 so they may end up being too big too!

Duo - online. Fantastic although not cheap. I have, ahem, well developed calves and have bought at least four pairs of boots from Duo (maybe more). You look online; measure your calves; select sizing etc and they're with you in a couple of days. Think you can even get next day delivery. Good, sexy styles too!

I have well developed calves (see login name) and am currently mourning inability to fit boots I had fallen in love with before actually tied them on http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/861112-I-am-mourning-my-boots see this thread

I have had two pairs of Duo boots and not that impressed - thin leather and very baggy at ankles. Fitted round calves, but nowhere else.

They have a shop in Manchester, not Preston.

CiderIUpAndSetIFree · 15/11/2009 22:56

These

are very generous around the calf, I can get my great trunks in them even with leggings on. Comfy too.

Manchesters a bit too far ,won't get chance before Xmas. Will have to try online
