Either wear a heel, or don't. Just don't totter precariously on a little KNOB of a heel. They just make your legs look fat.

I agree, a very unflattering shoe and very dated. Its either winkle picker of roundy toe and either looks awful.

I do have to add though the fashion for porn star shoes is equally unappetising. All those stack platfrom soles and laces.

They're very 90's and beg to be teamed with a voyage-style cardi and pretty skirt.

• long dark blue crinkle fabric summer dress FESTOOONED with small daisys and a little white cardigan

• a navy box-pleat skirt, white shirt and a navy blazer with gold buttons worn with "court shoes" and 10 denier tights (3 pairs a day usually due to laddering! Otherwise small ladders and clear nail varnish blobs)

Agree Kitten heels are the work f the devil. They are the mufti of the HIGH MAINTENANCE.

Worse is the tottery heels and pushchair combo but that's another thread.
