what is the best anti-aging moisturizer for mid-30's?

Can anyone recommend me a really good one with spf? My skin is pretty good condition - combination oily on the nose but dryish everywhere else. Seeing the signs of aging and motherhood - pores and little brown spots are beginning to appear - feel a bit deflated everytime I look in the mirror now!

I'm using Olay at the moment, the one that contains light reflective particles. It is very very good. I'm onto my second bottle and that says alot, I normally chop and change all the time because I can't find what I want.

When I have the cash I use lancome primordiale day and night which I think is fantastic.

Neal's Yard frankinsense.....

Don't know if it has a spf, but it is fantastic and always gets great write-ups. I first bought it because the write up said after a few days the tester no longer felt the need for make up.

It just sort of does something amazing to your skin tone......

Apparently Simple products are very good. I have bought their Regeneration Age Resisting moisturiser and think it's as good as my previous Clarins gear but a quarter of the cost. Let's see if the wrinkles gradually start to appear .

Another Simple user here, used to use Aveda but can't justify the cost now that I have children.

Frankincense Nourishing I think it's called...smells a bit clinical but it is the best I've ever tried.

the ulay one is good for fading age spots i've found but it's a bit drying for me.

I've started using the Neal's yard frankincense moisturiser also. It was free with Instyle a few months ago and although I didn't like it at first as it's quite thick and not like other creams I've used it definitely made a difference to my skin (am 42.)I also use the frankincense serum but don't know whether it makes any difference.

I am very, very fussy about what I will put on my skin, I won't use anything with SLS's or parabens or such like on it. I read the Ecologist see? I am also not a big fan of "beauty routines" and have just washed my face with a hit flannel for the last 20 years, not used soap, cleanser or moisuriser or anything. But time is catching up and my genes alone are no longer enough to keep me looking youthful and radient!

I have discovered "perfect world" by Origins. They tend to have a counter in large Boots branches, so you get Boots points when you buy it. I just use the moisturiser, nothing else, it's about £30 for a fair sized pot, smells lovely, feels light and fresh on my skin, isn't greasy and scarily, you can see the difference!! The girl on the counter will try and sell you a whole package, of course, but I just nodded and smiled and then asked for just the moisturiser please, and got a freebie of facial scrub, cleanser and serum thrown in.

I just started trying the simple just because it was cheap, but thought it felt a bit heavy when it goes on - but will see if any improvements in coming weeks. I like the sound of the neal's yard one - I go to the gym quite a bit so don't wear a lot of make up but would like to see an improvement in my skin tone.

I used to use the skin smoothing cream by dermalogica and ultra calming cleanser which I loved but that was all pre DS when I looked a lot better and now trying to spend less on skincare! But i suppose spending a bit more know means spending less on plastic surgery in the future ha! ha! Once I make a bit of headway into the simple age resisting moisturiser I am going to go with the Neal's Yard one and add the Dermalogica solar spf 30 defense booster to it and see how it works out. i really like the sound of the dermalogica age smart dyanmic skin recovery spf 30 - has anyone tried this? Though I'm thinking by going with the neal's yard and the booster I will get more product for my money.

I don't know why I've never tried dermalogica. Have read lots of good reviews.

The Origins Perfect World stuff is lovely - best for combination or oily skin, rather than dry, as it's v light. Their White Tea skin serum thingie is gorgeous too.

I am using Olay Regenerist at the mo and I like it a lot. I also like Decleor Hydrafloral and the Neroli oil thing they do but it is v expensive.

I'm tempted by that neroli oil stuff.

It is v lovely and does last a long time but so expensive - and tbh no more effective than cheaper stuff.

I got the freebie of the Frankinsense one mentionedearlier and found it far too rich. Might dig it out and try as a night cream maybe?

It took me a while to get used to the consistency of the frankincense cream but I stuck with it (had bought 3 copies of Instyle!) and was impressed. Have now bought another jar.
