lurve the thread title.

Can I add "summer face crimes" - do not leave the house without sun block on face and decollete unless you want to look like an old bag at 45.

seeing the toe seam on tights (usually tan, natch)thru a pair of sandals does it for me. ugh!

Mum2girls · 07/06/2005 12:46

Was sitting on the grass at a spring carnival last Sunday (watching a show) and there was a couple in front of us and he was picking at the hard skin on her feet. Yuuuuuuccccccckkkkk

there is a mum at the school who is really pretty lovely clothes etc but she has thick green toenails YUCK

Puff · 07/06/2005 17:57

Do people have a french manicure on their toes, or is this hands only?

I don't like really dark nail polish on toes, it makes me shiver in the same way as thinking about biting silver foil.

Fran1 · 07/06/2005 18:01

But you can't have naked toe nails!

just knew this had to be a cod thread

JoolsToo · 07/06/2005 18:08

and can you keep your skirts over the knees please - knees are really yucky!

Pinotmum · 07/06/2005 18:18

If you have nicely shaped toes and nails a french manicure is very now apparently. I've got to defuzz my toe knuckles before exposing my plates to the community.

flobbleflobble · 07/06/2005 18:21

what colour nail vaRNISH ARE you sporting, cod?

JoolsToo · 07/06/2005 18:34

perfect feet

noddyholder · 07/06/2005 18:38

what colour is de rigeyr for this summer then?I either wear a really dark purply black one or nude beige but would like a change my feet are ok but not beautiful so do need help

Xena · 07/06/2005 18:44

Yuck I hate looking at other peoples feet. I agree with cods advice, no over hang toes and cut your nails. Why do women squash their feet into too small sandals when we can all see they have big feet??

yes Puff you can have French pedicure (or whatever the term is for toe nails??!!). it looks really nice and neat but would reccommend to have it done at a beauty salon till you get confident. nothing worse than french manicure done wrongly.

I've never had it done myself but quite a few of my friends were sporting it last year and it did look nice. mind you, these friends appear to spend most of their time at the hairdresser, beauty parlours, shopping, out at lunch etc etc!

I wear either pillar box red or a dark burgundy/red one (usually the latter). Hate unpolished toe nails with sandals on - yuk, yuk, yuk!!

My beautifully polished toe nails were commented on by the midwives as i was stitched up after ds3's birth

Gobbledigook · 07/06/2005 21:01

LOL at 'wholemeal sandals'!!! And JTs pic!

Yep, spotted this as a cod thread a mile off!

Eewww, yes, 2nd toes bigger than big toe is well freaky!

snafu · 07/06/2005 21:02

Me too, Hausfrau. Am almost frighteningly low-maintenance in most other areas but my mother always taught me that a lady never has un-polished toenails

Mine are currently fabulous pillar-box red. Don't know if it suits my skin tone though. I can't get my feet that near my face any more.
