Haven't seen it but my thoughts are lumberjack/Bay City Rollers/Big Country.

I tried it on a couple of weeks ago.. lovely with biker boots and tights.

Its quite small fitting accross the chest though (am 34D)

On the French Connection tip ... I picked up a fab long line stripey cardi in a charity shop today for £3!! was in there buying 2nd hand sheets and towels so that I don't ruin another carpet in 3w and 3d (have had 2 homebirths, first in water, the 2nd too quick to get into the pool so am taking precautions with numero 3!!!!) so that was a score!

I saw the dress yesterday whilst shopping in Oxford Street travelling to a business meeting. I thought of you strangely enough! I think that you could carry off the dress as you are slim and young looking. With leggings and boots it will look fab.
