CybilLiberty · 08/09/2009 20:17

The heel is a tad clonky for me Something a bit more shaped would look better IMO

NoahFence · 08/09/2009 20:17

these i want - swoon tastic. can wear with opaques and a short straight skirt too
there is a 20 % off code somehere

janeite · 08/09/2009 20:18

I don't like them tbh. But then I don't like patent. And I agree that the heel is wrong.

CybilLiberty · 08/09/2009 20:19

these are for gals with huge plates of meat but I'm liking the Mary Poppins vibe

PippiL · 08/09/2009 20:19

Noah - yeah I like those too but the shop only had black and I wanted red!!! Black would go with more clothes but somehow didn't look right on.

Maybe I should go back and try again.

Those are much nicer cybil, more elegant.

llareggub · 08/09/2009 20:21

Wow.

I had a pair just like that in the early 90s. I loved them and wore them to death.

Might get this pair, thanks!

I have a 20% off code for Clarks: BTS0920

CybilLiberty · 08/09/2009 20:21

janeite · 08/09/2009 20:21

I like the Mary Poppins ones.

CybilLiberty · 08/09/2009 20:22

I dressed up as Mary Poppins for World Book day (don't start) and had a ball.

Spit Spot

brimfull · 08/09/2009 20:22

yes I like them

both clarks ones are nice

largeginandtonic · 08/09/2009 20:22

Yuk.

I am sure i used to wear similar to school. Mine were some odd maroon colour.

I like patent though, am hankering after some patent ballet pumps.

allaboutme · 08/09/2009 20:23

OP - those shoes are LOVELY! I would definitely wear them to work

Noahs ones bit more old lady tbh

NoahFence · 08/09/2009 20:34

NoahFence · 08/09/2009 20:37

FrameyMcFrame · 08/09/2009 20:51

love the price of these

madeupsurname · 08/09/2009 21:04

I have just got these which are a bit like Cybil's from Office - quite comfy and not as high as they look.

janeite · 08/09/2009 21:42

I like those - but they look VERY high! Wore heels today for the first time since July (teacher) and could barely walk by the time I got home!

Elemental · 08/09/2009 22:00

Oh, I think they're gorgeous! In both the black and the purple.

moondog · 08/09/2009 22:02

Cybill's are the best. They are great.
Hobbs have some cool shoes like this.
I've got a brown lace up pair I've worn for 14 years which still look brill.
