That confused me - first link is wallis but I agree they aren't nice.

ClaireDeLoon · 25/08/2009 10:35

OMG at the reposted first link

flowerybeanbag · 25/08/2009 10:36

Pantomime dress v funny. Interesting that the last dress apparently goes well with 'heals'.

LaDiDaDi · 25/08/2009 10:37

That's given me a good giggle.

The last one would "look good with heals" apparently.

LaDiDaDi · 25/08/2009 10:38

x=posts with flowery.

TotalChaos · 25/08/2009 10:38

most of the stuff is fugly - but I do quite like that allegra dress (hangs head in shame)...

Heathcliffscathy · 25/08/2009 10:39

at panto dress!!! someone was not of their right mind when they designed that one...

LevitatingCopy · 25/08/2009 10:39

Goes well with heaves more like

FlightHattendant · 25/08/2009 10:41

Dreadful. Absolutely dreadful. I do wonder if some of these companies have designers who decide to make one hell of a fugly dress just to see if anyone will actually buy it!

LadyPinkofPinkerton · 25/08/2009 10:48

Oh, those are really truly awful! Pantomime dress particularly.

FlightHattendant · 25/08/2009 10:50

Monsoon used to do really nice unusual pretty stuff. Now it's just, well BHS specials isn't it

On the other hand PER UNA have stepped up their game and have mainlty dictched the corsages by the look of it

Perhaps they have started reading MN!!

OP posts:
mollyroger · 25/08/2009 10:51

my eyes! My Eyes!!!

They have lost me and I am probably their target market

FlightHattendant · 25/08/2009 10:52

...actually I take it back, the corsages are gone but the prints are still mainly horrid.

There are a few nice bits though.

notyummy · 25/08/2009 10:53

oh, oh - I saw some minor sleb in a crappy mag wearing that panto dress, with some description beside it saying she was 'fashion forward'.

I showed the dress to DH and we both laughed at her.

I will try and find a link - twas the blonde girl from Gavin and Stacey I think.

Tidey · 25/08/2009 10:53

Frickin dreadful stuff. The pantomime dress looks like a cross between an apron and a german milkmaid outfit. DP says it's a 70's nightmare that wouldn't look out of place on Blake's 7.

giveloveachance · 25/08/2009 10:54

got to agree the pantomine dress made me laugh out loud!!!!

oh my who on earth will wear that!!!!????

they do seem to have lost their way stylistically!!

still laughing at the sight of that dress - its hysterically funny when you think of all the design approval meetings they must have had and yet they still approved it!!!

Here she is. Pretty girl - god awful dress. The Sun also makes fawning comments about the 'cute boho smock dress'.
