They will think there has been a national walt disney phenomenon

Laughing at pantomime dress.

That mac, it's lovely in theory but I tried it on and the buttons on the epaulette-things seemed really weirdly placed on my chest (do I have a weird chest? they looked as if they were nipple decorations).

MissAnnesley · 26/08/2009 09:41

Feck I wish I hadn't posted that I think I do have a weird chest.

Re. handkercheify dress thing I saw a friend in something similar, slippy hardly-there silky stuff, she's got a v boyish figure and long slim legs and she wore it with weird wooden shoes and she look AMAZING.

notyummy · 26/08/2009 09:41

ewww - weird name for a mac.

Yes, this season I want my clothing named after the fictional victim of grooming and sexual abuse.....

EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 26/08/2009 09:42

mac looks lovely in picture but suspect it would lose its charm on the real person - strictly for petit lovely women - possibly only japanese women

I saw the pantomine dress in a shop last week along with same style tops and skirts....was exactly the same as some hideous 'wench' costumes we hired from a fancy dress shop a few weeks ago for a party. Truly awful!!

MissAnnesley · 26/08/2009 09:51

LOL at "wench"

angelene · 26/08/2009 10:03

That second link right at the top even makes the invisible mannequin look fat!

That is GOLD.

trellism · 26/08/2009 12:11

Well, DH will have to wait till the sales and I have evicted my little passenger.

However, Pantomime dress + 8 month bump?

Might work, actually.

HeliumBee · 26/08/2009 13:37

OK - someone needs to email Monsoon and ask them what on earthnos going on - that stuff is VILE!!!

potatofactory · 26/08/2009 13:40

Actually unbelievable. I have worn some Monsoon stuff for years - real old favourites. The panto dress signals a mahajor problem developing!

FlightHattendant · 26/08/2009 14:40

They don't answer when you email. I did that last year to tell them their mannequin was hideously unflattering to any chosen garment, because of her pelvically thrusted stance. I said Nobody stands like that.
They took not a jot of notice - not a JOT!

That mac looks like something Emily Bishop would wear on Corrie.

pasturesnew · 26/08/2009 16:43

Actually am now tempted to buy said pantomime dress when it comes to the sales as a fancy dress costume, is this insane?
