But somehow they drink without punching each other Said... I was in Berlin for the world cup in 2006 and I was amazed at the Swedes who would routinely drink bars dry, but were totally amiable and friendly. I think the Dutch are the same aren't they?

I know a fair few Dutch blokes, all tall, fairly good looking and have a perpetually amused air about them. They also seem slightly camp, though I don't know if it's just the accent, which tends to stuff up the Gaydar.

Yep, ime the Dutch handle their drink very well and they pace themselves too. They are happy drunks

RE the drinking - the first time DH went out with a groupd of my friends he was amazeed how they rushed their drinks (and that they were drinking pints and not smaller glasses like they do in Holland!) He also commented on the whole drinking without eating thing - in Holland its much more common to have a dinner first and then go to a bar when on a night out. You dont seem to get the whole messy Saturday night fights over here.

WEll there were two in my year at school and they were both extremely tall (one was 6.7", the other was only 6. 3) but neither of them were what I'd describe as good looking. Not at 17 anyway.

Eeuurgh, the Dutch guy next to us on holiday was a right miserable arse. He was dark, not blond and had his surly face buried in a book throughout his stay - no attention to his dcs or his dw it seemed.

There were millions of Dutch on our campsite and I would say as a whole they are a very handsome race. Although the tans contrasting with their golden tresses help - without them they'd look pretty Brit. Fit Brit, admittedly.

I was on the beach observing the French and they are a gorgeous race. The women are all so bloody slender, but not in a starved way, they all look so healthy. Even the older women with the porky midriffs have strong healthy bodies (usually encased in flattering, tasteful swimsuits). Must be all the cycling and walking. No Greggs sausage rolls and beans in front of Britains Got Talent for them.

No, no white or indeed pink stretch marks to be seen. All kept at bay thanks to olive oil and the sun.

I've always said to dh he looks Dutch and he just laughed, saying there isn't a Danish 'look' ha ha, until that is we went to Duinrell, Wassenaar and people automatically spoke Dutch to him. He rarely is dwarfed but was quite often there.

I have commented about the general attractiveness of Dutch men to friends before. Did two girls holidays to Amsterdam and we all decided they def above average.

I went to Amsterdam on a 'girls weekend' in my pre-marriage n kids days and had a fling with an enormous and gorgeous Dutch guy. He had a body like this and was just unbelievably hot. I still can't believe I pulled him...

How bizarre, just had this conversation today with a colleague who lived in Amsterdam. I said she must have had a hard time not drooling (I know I did) and she announced all Dutch men were hideous. In all other respects she is entirely normal, but clearly not rational on this topic.
