This season I will mostly be wearing.... WHAT?

So, Autumn approaches, and the high street is an utter mix of random styles. What should I look out for7avoid. i want to be warm, and will be breastfeeding, so am looking for front opening tops/shirts etc. I've seen lots of baggy shirts etc, and was thinking of wearing flat boots, thick tights and skirts to go with a loose shirt. Not sure if this is trendy, or just Bag Lady. I'm a reasonable (currently hugely inflated with baby) size 10/12, early thirties normal looking pear shape..
Any ideas?

Am 3 wks post birth and bf and will be doing the usual slim/straight leg jeans. Am looking for some belstaff style boots but cheaper and a nice coat.

Lots of cardis and vest tops/long sleeved t-shirts which i find easiest for bf in. Have mulberry bag from last year and will buy some nice/cheap necklaces too.

MadameCastafiore · 17/08/2009 17:27

Depends - I swing from skinny jeans and All Saints tops and waterfall cardies to Crew Co. preppyness with Boden Pumps.

BadgersArse · 17/08/2009 17:47

CybilLiberty · 17/08/2009 17:49

Its the tightish on leg that is the problem. You must have slim pins
(as have I)

noddyholder · 17/08/2009 17:56

Nice slim trousers in zara in lovely colours with nice cardigans too.Cords in AA aren't leggings just skinny jeans but super flattering and stretchy.

cornsillk · 17/08/2009 17:59

Amazon have nice Gant boots in their clearance sale - I got a gorgeous pair for about £45 - think they're full price again now.

noddyholder · 17/08/2009 18:02

Rocket Dog Nokout boots ar nice with skirts bikerish. But for skinny legs you need to pay and get fryes!

MrsBarbaraKingstanding · 17/08/2009 18:03

...and where do I find long cardis which dont make me look like a sausage - being a pear with no boobs, they are REALLY unflattering, despite being so comfy. Maybe a light/less chunky one?
