Want some shoes to wear with new dress that look pretty but slightly funky rather than overly dressy.

IMHO gold leather looks a bit cheap and tacky, and teamed up with espadrilles.........ewwwwwww

sorry.

what is the dress like?

Enid · 26/05/2005 14:37

raspberry pink crumpled silk, bias cut, v-neck, cap sleeve, below the knee, floppy flower corsage on one shoulder

The dress sounds lovely and I'm not just saying that to dig myself out a hole

And on reading the description of the dress I defo say no to the shoes.

northerner · 26/05/2005 14:41

Hmmm. I'm thinking no to those shoes with that dress also.

bundle · 26/05/2005 14:42

what about some flat jewelled slipper things?

emmatmg · 26/05/2005 14:42

Phew, thanks northerner.......

Enid · 26/05/2005 14:43

Wedges are in at the mo, but no to espadrilley things, they look like horse fodder.

No, go for strappy wedges methinks. Maybe in a colour to match or contrast the dress.

What shops have you got a choice of? Do you have a Schuu or Office?

emmatmg · 26/05/2005 14:45

have they not got anything there?

slipper thingys would look lovley I think. Hmmmmmm need a heel though..........

When is the night out?
