Want some shoes to wear with new dress that look pretty but slightly funky rather than overly dressy.

I only don't have silver ballet shoes because they were out of stock in Size Sweet But Mutant.

Hoxtonchick, just stay away from the shoe shop. NOW.

i was always jealous of people with small feet, MI, there was a girl at school called Janet Topping who had huge tits & size 3 feet and I thought that was the ideal physique...[sink]

bundle · 26/05/2005 16:10

even

marthamoo · 26/05/2005 16:12

My Mum loves gold shoes - but I still think they're tacky! Sorry, sorry, sorry!

Someone at Clarks is taking some very strange drugs. Just had a look for Enid's shoes and I can't find them either. But they have shoes called, among other things: Lickity; Goblin: Sunita; Gazump; and ,my own personal favourite, Fritatta

bundle · 26/05/2005 16:13

check out camper.com moo, you can view shoes from different angles..

motherinferior · 26/05/2005 16:16

Oh yes, girls with big bosoms and mini-feet have all the fun

Enid, have you bought them yet?

marthamoo · 26/05/2005 16:17

Don't girls with big buzooms and tidgy feet keel over a lot?

motherinferior · 26/05/2005 16:34

yes because people buy us drinks.

In reality I just look vaguely duck-like.

Fio2 · 26/05/2005 16:40

oh moo LOL to the person at clarks must be on drugs

gold and silver shoes are for old ladies and ball room dancers everyone knows that. MI stop showing orf!

Enid · 26/05/2005 17:10

Ok

got to new hairdressers and they were running an hour late

didnt buy shoes, decided they were horrid

will buy sparkly flats tomorrow.

But DID buy nice bronzy jewelled wedges in new look (they won't go with dress but am wearing them now with trousers to wear to private view)

yes! (cod)

have been to some things to do with your local festy

helped promote the monks (the sold out monks)

crunchie, it is a brand new New Look that I have never been to before and the shoe dept was HUGE and pretty good - although always a worry that I'll look mutton

I laughed when I saw the gold sandals in clarks window and thought of you lot

I think espadrilles would look lovely actually

Very 'in' this year!

But maybe not gold!

Can't remember exactly where I saw them, but think it was Accessorise, that had while ones where the front bit was made from holey cotton, a bit m=like brodianglaise. They might be nice????

lurvely flip flops in Monsoon/accessorise too and I am not a flip flop fan as a rule

crunchie · 26/05/2005 17:22

Enid how can shoes make you look mutton??

Shoes are ageless, and more importantly sizeless Even if you put on weight your shoes still fit

However this is from someone who buys far too many shoes and at the mo has 3 fave New look shoes on the go. Jewelled flats £20, brown leather stillettos £25, brown wooden heeled sandals £10 in the sale

Some of the clothes are a little on teh skimpy side should we say, but there are loads of gems

lou33 · 26/05/2005 17:26

big no to gold

Enid · 26/05/2005 17:29

I like gold

but not anymore - overdone now

although I have silver birkenstocks, sorry.

I must say new New Look wedges are very comfy so far.

Must go downstairs and host glittering art opening and drink bubbly darlings
