Can I get away wearing this to dh's work summer party?

this top with skinny smark black trousers, silver heels and lots of silver jewellery?

The party is usually quite formal, most of the men are in suits as they come straight from work, and most of the women are 20 something Essex girls and so they love to dress up, and will probably be wearing prom dresses and the like.

Bearing in mind I'm about 15 years older than most of the women there and 5 months pg is this outfit smart enough?

Save your money for some treats after you have the babe then. If I ever have another baby I will spend hte absolute minimum on maternity clothes

That's what I swore Tatty, but I hate wearing the same things to death. I'm not that shallow (yeah, right) but it depressed me after I'd had ds to be in the same boring mat clothes. It didn't help that everything I owned was either black or white because I thought I was being oh so clever buying everything to go with everything else, but actually it was really depressing to go without any colour for so long!

Yes, I doubt that I'll put my money where my mouth is either. Of course I know now that I will end up wearing maternity clothes for quite some time after birth

Well me too, dc2 is due around Christmas so I'm not exactly going to be living on celery and carrot sticks in the run up to birth!

IME pregnant women alwasy look better than they think they do.

I hope you're right SS... last time I went to that party I was pg too but I was much further along and I wore a black dress (yes, the dreaded black) that only really looks good with a massive bump. Otherwise it just kind of hangs there limply. This time my bump's a lot smaller as I'll only be 5 months pg (as opposed to 8.5 months as I was last time)
