But they are like mittens for feet. No no no no.

TheChilliMooseIsaMalingerer · 13/07/2009 15:13

If that is the case, aren't all shoes like mittens for feet? Unless they are flip flops.

brimfull · 13/07/2009 15:15

freecycle them

swedesinsunglasses · 13/07/2009 15:25

Those are proper Birkies Boston clogs (the original and best sort of Birkies).

VietnameseCobbler · 13/07/2009 15:27

they are wot healthcare people wear
or beauticians

sell it on brazlilianwaxesrus.com

ThePhantomPlopper · 13/07/2009 15:53

They are hideous.

Style and colour.

Sorry.

EyeballsintheSky · 13/07/2009 15:56

They're pretty grim, but then you like flip flips that look like penises so maybe you're not the best person to judge

flipflopper · 13/07/2009 16:12

They are awful sorry. On German exchange at school all the german kids had them.
I would wear them around the house.

Fimbo · 13/07/2009 16:28

I think if they were a better colour they would look ok. Either house shoes or give to dentist sister methinks.

swedesinsunglasses · 13/07/2009 16:43

I think they are more Botox lady than Dentist. Dentists always wear white shoes don't they? Why?

MamaG · 13/07/2009 16:46

Nooooooooo I dont like penisy flipflops!

They are now my HangingWashingOutShoes

MorrisZapp · 13/07/2009 17:05

Keep them.

Honestly, they're not that bad. I can see half the yummy mummies round here wearing those and much worse.

I think they're quite cute!

orangina · 13/07/2009 17:14

You could always wear them to a scrubs party....

swedesinsunglasses · 13/07/2009 17:35
LaurieFairyCake · 13/07/2009 17:37

They are lovely

I had some with flowers on a few years ago - had very positive comments on them.

I now have about 14 pairs of Birkies so for fecks sake don't listen to me, I'm hardly a style guru.

TheFool · 13/07/2009 18:49

there is a reason things are put on freecycle

Icantbelieveit · 13/07/2009 19:13

They will be good for doing the gardening, taking the bin out etc

suggy · 13/07/2009 19:40

anyone remember the smurfs...

Having said that 15 years when I was younger and had no taste I had some in navy and they were the comfiest shoes I have ever ever owned. I eventually relegated them to gardening and was gutted when they died...

MrsSchadenfreude · 13/07/2009 20:33

I like clogs . I'd wear em.

MrsSchadenfreude · 13/07/2009 20:34

I often look German around the feet...Birkis, clogs, Dutch mules...

Caz10 · 13/07/2009 21:12

Aaaah i didn't realise they actually were clogs

I got strappy Birkies and I love them, but keep having moments of insecurity about them.

I think yours are fine actually MamaG but i am SO far from the type of person you should listen to about such things its not funny...

MamaG · 13/07/2009 22:22

UPDATE

I wore them on school run. Bear in mind I live 2 mins from school and was pushing a large pram so I could hide a bit. I sneakily showed mate who loved them. DD came out and shrieked "what have you got on your feet?" and promptly covered them with her school jumper! She didn't approve and has banned me from wearing them to school

scampadoodle · 13/07/2009 22:26

I don't like the white sole but they are perfectly fine for wearing around the house or hanging out washing. Crocs are a billion, nay, trillion times worse.

imaynotbeperfectbutimokmummy · 13/07/2009 22:47

i'll have them
