Ive seen a lot of reviews on the net about using chafing gel on your face as a primer, does anyone do it?

Lanacane contains 3% benzocaine and the packet says you should not use this for more than 1 week at a time. (Google Benzocaine to see possible side effects of overdosing). Additionally it should be kept well away from eyes. It is described as an local anaesthetic gel.

I stand corrected - was wondering why anyone would want to put an anaesthetic cream on their face!

TheProvincialLady · 12/07/2009 16:38

Well for all I know, Preparation H might be the best lipstick ever, but I'm not prepared to whip it out of my makeup bag in public I will stick with Idealist thanks, though I agree it is £££.

clarebear1 · 13/07/2009 21:24

I've got some...over there on teh table, my mum bought it for me as she knew i couldn't find it...but I did want it for the anti-chafing properties!

My free sample was requested 2 months ago and still hasn't surfaced...
