I saw so many when i ventured into nearest city today. The side partings are so severe on some of them they have to hairspray them into place.

I saw one girl, who's long hair was combed over from top of her ear.

Such cricked necks they walk with heads at right angles to bodies!!!

Fay Ripley [Cold Feet fame] has been doing it for years. I love her but hate her hair style.

You have neglected to mention the unnecesary inch thick foundation they wear in a shade too dark and the spiders leg eyelashes.
EVERY gal in Kingston under the age of 20 has hair like this.

Liz Jones, aka the Daily Mail resident nutcase has her hair like this. But I think she does it as she's still stuck in the 80s rather than as a new trend. Always makes me shudder when I see a photo of her as it looks so awful, if I saw her in real life I'd be compelled to attack her with a comb and move her parting over!

I haven't seen any but what I DID see yesterday was a girl with a BEEHIVE! Yes, huge amounts of long hair backcombed and pinned on top, with longer bits left loose at the back.
She was also wearing an odd dress.

It's the uniform here in Norfolk.

Massive comb over.

Big billowy shirt, preferably blue and white vertical stripes, cinched in at waist with Ridiculous Belt.

Skinniest of skinny jeans.

Ballet Shoes.

Caked on make-up.

Enormous metallic bag.

Saw a prime example just this morning. She looked so weighed down by it all.

I always think this when watching this character in Eastenders. Not a brilliant picture as my example though but anyone who watches will know what I mean!

I alwayswonder what they put in such large bags. Before DS all I carried about was phone, purse, keys and possibly an umbrella!

Come on.... just how old are you lot!! I'm over 30 and sometimes do the old backcombed comb-over (not too extreme a parting though). I honestly love the look - when it's done well.

she has her own mtv fly-on-the-wall(although very staged) tv show.
she works in the fashion industry, is loaded and surrounded by beautiful people.
she's aspirational to teenage girls.

i think those pics were more about how she was holding her bag than her side parting.

imagine doing a side parting on yuor head, just above your ear, and scraping the whole lot over you head!! Also slap your fringe across your forehead, so that all the hair is strategicaly placed, in sort of sections over your forehead.
