Are Converse boots/ shoes acceptable for the over 30s?

I want some. I have some money for them. But will I be mocked on my return to the UK? They are quite acceptable here but then so are fanny packs and white socks.

Do I get shoes or boots?

Converse look great on everyone. My mum is pushing 50 and looks ridiculously good in jeans & converse (far better than I do at 23 )

I'm wearing one of my 3 pairs of converse now (navy no lace) and I'm (shh) in my 40s.....

I know Squid - I checked after posting that message . Last time I looked they had them in every colour.

54 - wear black and my DD's blue ones; she now wants to pinch mine. About being too old for all this? No-one has ever said this to me. And lived

My parents (56 and 61) still wear them and look great .
