I've got a black tie business do to go to (proper posh too)

Need a dress - preferably long - haven't got time to be faffing round with fake tan on my chicken skin legs.

Something quite simple, fitted shape (I'm slimish round the middle, but with humongous arms and legs, so floaty maxi type things make me look like a mountain) I'm a size 12. Will wear wrap/shrug etc to cover arms.

BUT, the do is THIS FRIDAY night.

SO, I need somewhere that offers next day delivery.

Oh, and I don't want to spend over £100, but obviously would like the dress to look like it cost about £1000

So, is this possible, or will I wake up any minute and realise this is all a nightmare, and I didn't actually leave it this late to buy a dress??????

Nope, shops are out - too much work on atm - which is why I've left it so late

i know bugger-all about evening dresses. but will make encouraging comments and bump for you.

I would have a good look at asos.com esp as they have that catwalk feature so you can see how the dress looks on. They stock a variety of brands, too.

deffo more to choose from in short styles - and you can use leg 'make-up' rather than fake tan so would be very speedy!

I think needing something for friday without trying anything on its gonna be tricky to find the perfect dress - I've been trying without success for 6 months

I absolutely adore this and if it wasnt for the fact that my mum bought me a dress for family wedding I would buy it. Perhaps not right for black tie though?

Geordie, that Next dress is in stock in the mink colour...would that go with the pewter sandals, and is the neck stitching ok?

I think it would look lovely with the sandals, as long as you didnt introduce any other colours.

The sandals are lovely btw, thnking about ordering them to go with gunmetal silk dress that I have.
