I've got a black tie business do to go to (proper posh too)

Need a dress - preferably long - haven't got time to be faffing round with fake tan on my chicken skin legs.

Something quite simple, fitted shape (I'm slimish round the middle, but with humongous arms and legs, so floaty maxi type things make me look like a mountain) I'm a size 12. Will wear wrap/shrug etc to cover arms.

BUT, the do is THIS FRIDAY night.

SO, I need somewhere that offers next day delivery.

Oh, and I don't want to spend over £100, but obviously would like the dress to look like it cost about £1000

So, is this possible, or will I wake up any minute and realise this is all a nightmare, and I didn't actually leave it this late to buy a dress??????

All the ones that I've seen that are below £100 are in Debenhams which don't do next day delivery - can you get to one?

If you get really desperate you could look at www.girlmeetsdress.com which hires out some beautiful dresses. I think you're much better spending your money on something you will get to keep but might be an option if you get desperate!

Heated, the Debenhams ones all say free 5 day dispatch, so I'd be worried it wouldn;t be here in time. Which is a shame, because the dresses are gorgeous.

Ah ebay - If you look on my profile, there's a pic of a dress that I had wanted something similar to. This was about a month ago, but couldn't find anything similar. So, I ended up buying a dress on ebay over 2 weeks ago now, but it hasn't turned up - the seller's not responding to emails or phone calls. I will get the money back from Paypal, but that's why I've left it just so late to get a dress, I kept thinking the ebay one would arrive.

So might give ebay a miss!
