please find me a red wedge

bought these but they are a 41 and, truth be told, I am a 42.

so back they go.

But I neeeeeeeed a red wedge. Nowt too high, as am preggers and v.tall anyway - just a good, walkable, comfy, stylish, high-ish wedge to make me look taller and slimmer as I get bigger and rounder.

And so that I don't suffer from hem-drag with my flares.

Any ideas ladies?

you will mock, but I saw something very, very similar (but nicer pillar-box red) in ADSA today.

LetThemEatCake · 20/05/2009 20:04

I will not mock.

But I will say - must be available online....

Does it have to be an espadrille type thing ie not a shoe?

cornsilk · 20/05/2009 20:06

Asda you say...

southeastastra · 20/05/2009 20:06

m & s do some almost identical to that

peggotty · 20/05/2009 20:06

I have got fly london yuma wedge in red, very very comfy and people always ask me where I got them from when I wear them. (shamefully, I can't do links so you'll have to google! )

Kayzr · 20/05/2009 20:07

LetThemEatCake · 20/05/2009 20:07

peggotty · 20/05/2009 20:17

Letthemeatcake, that's them. Fly london do peep-toe wedges but not sure if they come in red.....

LetThemEatCake · 20/05/2009 20:18

tracey, you're pregnant aren't you? how do you find the height? how high are they? no info on the site...

OP posts:
peggotty · 20/05/2009 20:21

here

peggotty · 20/05/2009 20:21

wahey, my first ever link!!!!!

traceybath · 20/05/2009 20:21

They're a reasonable height but not too high - gosh thats helpful isn't it!

But i'm short so conditioned to heels always

They are comfy though and the strap works well at supporting the foot. I've totally given up on sling back wedges as just found the straps always fall down at the back and my jeans get caught underneath my heel which drives me mad.

Am 30 weeks now and look like a space hopper on legs! However ordered my motivational post-pregnancy jeans yesterday - yes i am truly mad.

peggotty · 20/05/2009 20:22

oops wrong colour, they do red as well!

Fimbo · 20/05/2009 20:22

I heart Fly shoes. If I won the lottery I would chuck out all my shoes and boots (believe me I have hundreds) and only buy Fly.

peggotty · 20/05/2009 20:25

Yes fimbo, I was a virgin Fly-er til I got my yumas. They are the best! So damn comfy!
