Do you wear band t-shirts? If yes who, and how old are you?

Not any more but I still regret getting rid of my 'Love Will Tear us Apart' and 'Happy When It Rains' t-shirts. I stopped wearing them when I developed my 32E chest, aged around 23, as they were unflattering and made me look fat. Am 39 now. Still have Morrissey on the wall though!

michaelad · 07/04/2009 17:00

Occasionally, yes! Am 39 and in my current selection are: Tool, the Editors, James and Dead can dance

DSM · 07/04/2009 17:01

I have loads..

Guns n Roses, Led Zeppelin, Stones, Kiss, Motley Crue, Joy Division, Pink Floyd...

I am 26

ShowOfHands · 07/04/2009 17:02

I have 2 Show Of Hands t-shirts and a Kate Rusby t-shirt. I wear a Metallica one or ACDC one for painting. Oh have a Beautiful South one somewhere that says 'Northern Scum' on the front.

EasterEggsintheSky · 07/04/2009 17:02

37 years old - Blondie T shirts and occasionally the Ramones.

MayorNazeNotWithChoccyEggs · 07/04/2009 17:02

yes. i am 28. apart from the beatles, i try to wear bands that i've seen

am after def leppard, whitesnake and blackstone cherry tshirts - could've kicked myself for not buying loads at that gig

DSM · 07/04/2009 17:03

Oh, yeah I have a blondie one as well, and a roxy music one.

chocolepew · 07/04/2009 17:06

I'm asking because I was wearing a Blondie t-shirt the other day and a teenager said in my earshot, "She's too old to be wearing that" . I'm 40 and a Blondie fan, I have 7 t-shirts of them and a couple of Stones ones. I Personally I think she was jealous because she was wearing the same one and I looking better in mine.

I still wear my Ned's Atomic Dustbin T-shirt... only in bed, though!

EasterEggsintheSky · 07/04/2009 17:09

Was it the purple Next one by any chance? I see millions of those buggers around (yes, I have one too!) but I don't want any Tom, Dick or Debbie wearing them. I want to be one of a chosen few because I was there and bought it after a gig or whatever

EasterEggsintheSky · 07/04/2009 17:09

Forgot to say, cheeky young fecker!

scienceteacher · 07/04/2009 17:09

My BIL works in theatre and he gets a steady supply of band teeshirts. I wear them - as night shirts. I would not be seen dead in them outside of the house.

chocolepew · 07/04/2009 17:10

Yes it was, I sort of collect them so I had to buy it, it's the law. I flaunted my very lovely Marc Jacobs Debbie Harry bag at her

I blame the feckin' Next directory and all the other places that sell Blondie and Ramones t-shirts to pre-teen girls

I wear a Blue Nile t-shirt to the gym sometimes. I am 36

Tinker · 07/04/2009 17:12

Ha, I've got a Blondie one as well but don't wear it in public. Used to have loads but threw them all out years ago when I realised how unflattering most are (on me!)

EasterEggsintheSky · 07/04/2009 17:14

It's totally the law to collect them. They currently have an orangey sleeveless Blondie vest. I'm toying with buying it even though my arm tops never see the light of day!

Am I allowed to buy a Blondie t shirt for dd when she's a little older? She is the daughter of a raving fan after all

southeastastra · 07/04/2009 17:15

i saw a toddler in a rolling stones tshirt the other day, made me mildly annoyed.

Tinker · 07/04/2009 17:15

I must admit, I did get the TK Maxx Red Nose Beatles one for my youngest (that was for me really)

TheSynOddOneOfWhitby · 07/04/2009 17:16

I have a Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert one which is in a safety deposit box folded away neatly in my bottom drawer.

Have several Wildhearts ones i wear on slobby days.

DSM · 07/04/2009 17:16

sea, why did it make you annoyed?

EasterEggsintheSky · 07/04/2009 17:17

I love that Marc Jacobs bag btw. I have this but not been brave enough to use it yet for some reason.

chocolepew · 07/04/2009 17:17

Ohh haven't seen the vest . My DDs are 11 and 7 and both wear Blondies tees.

EasterEggsintheSky · 07/04/2009 17:18
